Here is the Journey, I would like to share about Kashmir.
Day 1 : We started from New Delhi by early morning @ 07:30 and reached Srinagar airport by 09:00 AM
We booked a taxi package in advance for 4 days, which cost around 8000 INR which includes toll charges.
Started to Pahalgam at 11:00 AM and reached at 15:00 PM IST.
Drive to Pahalgam “Valley of Shepherds” was pleasant. In Pahalgam, we enjoyed the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage.
Places to visit : Bisran , Betab valley, and Aru valley.
Day 2 Drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 55 km was covered in about 4 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. We got a chance to view Nanga Parbhat thanks to the weather. The view en route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. We enjoyed the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis).
Day 3 : Visited Mount Afarwat highest peak in Gulmarg 4390 M.
Not to wonder! Kashmir is the real beauty of India and which is located in northern part of India.
It's just a glimpse of Kashmir please visit if you want to explore the real beauty.

Gulmarg is the heartland of winter sports in India .Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramula district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir
Built by the French company Pomagalski, the Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest in the world reaching 3,979 metres. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Gulmarg to a shoulder of nearby Mt. Apharwat Summit/Peak
Reckoned to be the best skiing destination in India, Gulmarg is an important part of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism.Gulmarg is the best place to ski in India. For beginners, there are three baby slopes available with expert ski instructors .Apart from skiing, you can try snowboarding and sledging as well.
If you are visiting Gulmarg in summer time it is ideal to try your hands at golfing. Gulmarg is reckoned to have world’s second highest golf course, which is situated at an altitude of 2650m. It is an 18-hole golf course and is spread over an area of 7505yards
Alpather Lake is one exciting place for a day trip from Gulmarg. Situated at the feet of the twin Aparwath Peaks, the lake is around 13kms from Gulmarg. Aparwath Lake is one of the most scenic places you could be and it remains frozen till mid May and even in the month of June one can see several ice chunks floating on the water.
The shrine of Baba Reshi is 500 years old and holds an important position as a religious place in Gulmarg .
Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve is a great place to witness the rich flora and fauna of the region. Situated around 48kms from Srinagar, Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve is placed at an altitude of 2400m above sea level. The reserve is a safe shelter for many wildlife animals like Himalayan Musk Deer, Red Fox, Brown and Black Bear.

Gulmarg is around 50km from Srinagar and 13 km away from Tangmarg. Gulmarg is a small town with a large meadow in the centre, and hotels, government residences, gondola, shops at the periphery of the meadow. Most of the tourist spots like Rani's temple, St. Mary's Church, Golf course, Children's park, etc. are located in the meadow. A road around 5 km long goes around the meadow and from within the meadow. The Gondola is located at one corner of the meadow. The market with lot of eating places, hotels are close by.
A sight-seeing trip is mainly through Gondola (Rope-way) ride in two phases. Phase-I Gulmarg to Kungdoor (near Khilanmarg) & Phase-II Kungdoor to Aparwath. As of October 2018, Gondola ticket cost are Rs. 740 & 950 respectively for above 3-year kids to adults including return trip. If you are travelling during May-Oct, there will not find snow at Phase-I so It is recommended to book gondola up to Phase-II only.

Cable Car Gondola, Gulmarg, Srinager, Kashmir, India: The greatest tourist attraction of Gulmarg, Kashmir, India is the cable car Gonldola. The Gulmarg Gondola in Jammu and Kashmir is the world's highest operating cable car. This Gondola operates in two phases. First phase takes you to Kongdori at an altitude of nearly 10,000 feet or 3050 meter and second phase takes you to Afarwat Mountain peak at an altitude of 13500 feet or 4200 meter. This was in the month of May, 2014 and the entire first phase is covered with thick ice. Snow mobiles and snow scooters were cruising over there. Gulmarg Gondola of Gulmarg ropeway is the main tourist attraction or Kashmir in India. Gulmarg Gondola of Kashmir in India is one of the longest and highest ropeway cable car in the world. Gulmarg Gondola has two stages. The first stage takes you from Gulmarg (approx 8500 feet) to Kongdoori (10000 feet). The second phase of the Gondola takes you from Kongdoori (approx 10000 feet) to mount Apharwat peak at 13500 feet altitude. The first phase of the ride takes around 9 minutes while the second takes about 12 minutes.

The second stage, Phase 2, of the ropeway, which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft)).
The slopes of Afarwat Hills of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalaya Chain boast one of the longest and highest ski slopes in Asia. The total distance covered by ski lifts is five kilometres and the resort peaks at an altitude of 3,950 m (12,959 ft), accessed by an aerial gondola (telecabine).

This is Day-3 of our 7 days Kashmir Tour. In this video we had shared with you how we had explored Kongdori and our Gondola ride & snowmobiling experiences.
Gulmarg is a small hill station of Jammu & Kashmir and is located in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. During spring & summer the valley looks like green carpet and is dotted with colourful wild flowers. In winters, it’s fully covered with snow and offers various snow activities. It has one of the best skiing slopes. It’s also famous for its Gondola ride and boasts the highest golf course in the world. On a clear day one can view the Nanga Parbat from here.

Let me explain u briefly :
--- To reach Gulmarg u have to hire a different car with chains to their wheels from Tangamrg as its sliperry as roads are covered in snow ..15-20 min from Tangmarg is Gulmarg
--- From Gulmarg , a 15-20 min walk is Gondola cable car ... u can walk but its slippery or hire a horse,which is not available in winters or another option a sledge vehicle where u sit in and a person drags u till the point u could even have a helper who makes sure u are safe enough
--- It is better to book ur gondola cable car tickets online of both the phases...u never know how long the line would be there in the counter but mostly not crowded in winters ..but best to book online ... in case of any cancellation due to bad weather conditions..money will be refunded
--- First , u reach to the 1st Phase .9,100 ft .... full of people learning skiing and enjoying ice ..Unfortunately , at the time we visited ..first phase was fully covered with fog ..so we continued to phase 2 with hope of no fog
--- As we proceeded to 2nd phase...sun started coming out and it was bright and sunny..Some breathtaking views in second phase..13k ft... no oxygen problem even at that height .no worries
