Traveling to New Zealand, the Ferry from Kohokohu to Rawene
When in Northland I went on the ferry to continue my trip. Rawene is on Northlands West Coast Twin Coast Discovery route, state highway 12. North of Dargaville and the Waipula forest. South of Ninety Mile beach and West of the Bay-of Islands and Kaikohe.
Hokianga Vehicle Ferry Timetable: The Hokianga Car Ferry leaves Rawene (the Southern side) every half hour from 07:30 to 20:00 and crosses to the rawene narrows (4 Km South of Kohokohu) in the North, linking state highway 12.
