Gun Hill Signal Station in St. George, formerly Briggs Hill Station was once Barbados' largest military outpost. The signal station, used to send messages across the island, was established between 1818 and 1819 and was also a secondary station for troops during plagues or epidemics. Today gun hill is home to stunning views and a large collection of military memorabilia.
