Kayaking trip in San Blas Panama, with SeaKunga Adventures. The San Blas archipelago is home to the most fiercely independent indigenous peoples of the Americas: the Kuna. The Kuna know their islands as Kuna Yala (land of the Kuna) and maintain their own self government. We have been granted special permission from the council of chiefs to enter and explore this unspoiled archipelago.

Adventures in Panama & Comarca de Kuna Yala
Our family backpacking adventure to Panama City eventually took us from the streets of Casco Viejo in the Old Quarter of Panama City to the rugged Caribbean coast and more adventure in San Blas Archepelago. The San Blas islands are also known as the Comarca de Kuna Yala, the semi autonomous homeland of the Kuna Indian people. We were based on Isla Kuanidup just across from a Kuna settlement on Wichub Wala. We found true paradise with white sand beaches, turquoise blue water, and palm lined beaches on the tiny island known as Isla Perro, or Dog Island. After a flight on a deHavilland Twin Otter bush plane from Carti, Panama to Panama City we visited the Panama Canal at the Mira Flores Lock and cruised the old cobbled streets of the old quarter at Casco Viejo in Panama City.
We travel on a shoestring budget and get as much bang for our buck as a family of 5 can have!

The oceans have swallowed many historical shipwrecks.
Ocean X Team is a wreck- and ocean exploration company, aiming to document what we discover with TV-documenturies.
On our expeditions we don’t just find wrecks, we also find things that should not be in our waters, like ticking environmental bombs for example or things that might upset the authorities.
Our expeditions are very costly and we do not get any EU- or governmental grants.
Therefore are we accepting donations in order to be able to continue discover what’s hiding in the depths.
