Founded in 1967, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service manages more than 850 protected areas in NSW, Australia, covering over 7 million hectares and including national parks, nature reserves, World Heritage areas, rainforests, beaches, alpine areas and sites of great cultural and historic significance. The River Road | Bourke To Wilcannia , NSW
The River Road is is a 300km track running along side the Darling River in remote outback New South Wales Australia. Using a 4WD vehicle is recommended as the track is corrugated in places, has deep ruts and washouts. During the drive you'll see plenty of natural wildlife and there is river access right along this route making it ideal for an overnight camp on the banks of the river.
