[TRIPofJHL] Trip to Busan
Traveling Busan, the No. 2 city of Korea.
Gwangbok-ro (Street): A street for shopping and gourmet. With its great location, many visitors unpack here and start to see Busan.
Yongdusan Gongwon (Park): A quiet park to look down in Nampo neighborhood.
Bupyeong Kkangtong Yasijang (Night Market): Kkangtong Night Market provides an awesome street food experience with continuous snack carts.
BIFF Square: A street with lots of fun. Of those avenues in that, The avenue of film festival is outstanding.
Jagalchi Sijang (Market): The best-known seafood market in Busan. People come and enjoy seafoods with a glass of soju.
Seomyeon-ro (Street): A commercial area for business, shopping and entertainment. And there's the increasing market of various clinics.
On the other hand, Busan has some dishes for foodies who look for something extraordinary. 'Dwaeji Gukbap' is one of them. And vistors from other areas of Korea try at least once before leaving Busan. It's a pork soup which looks similar to Seolleongtang.
Bujeon Sijang (Marketplace): This is one of big markets in Busan. Unlike touristic markets in Nampo, visitors seemed to be from Busan mostly.
Haedong Yonggungsa (Temple): The way to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is pretty far from the touristic center. Haedong Yonggungsa is a temple built upon the coast. With its exclusive location, a huge portion of visitors goes to tourists.
Haundae: There are many popular places in Busan. However, Busan travel can't be completed without Haundae. Haundae is the name of the northeastern district of Busan. But, it's better known for its beach. Haundae Haesuyokjang (Beach). Haundae Beach is the most famous beach in Korea. During summer vacation season, this beach looks as if it's a stadium with a capacity crowd.
Gwangan Daegyo (Bridge): The longest wire-sustaining bridge in
Korea. Fireworks Festival here is the biggest event of the year.
Dongbaekseom (Island): This little island is connected to the land by a bridge and good to take a walk.
Gamcheon Munhwa Maeul (Culture Village): The village of street arts such as murals and statues. The other beauty of this village is the location on hillside
facing the coast.
Gukje Sijang (Marketplace): A market in a large area. After the spotlight of the film with the same name, it has become so famous.
Lotte Baekhwajeom(Department Store): Lotte Department in Nampo provides a wonderful rooftop garden to visitors. And it is one of the best spots to look down the movement of Yeongdo Bridge.
Yeongdo Daegyo (Bridge): The first-ever bascule bridge in Korea. There's a lifting time once a day at 2 PM.
Songdo Haesuyokjang (Beach): One of beaches in Busan and less crowded than other beaches in the east. The ropeway above the sea is amazing.
Nampo has an enormous underground shopping zone. There are many clothing and accessory shops.
Dongrae Oncheon (Hot Springs): Dongrae has been popular as hot spring area since long ago. Hot springs here are locating irregularly. And these are yet to be known much to foreign tourists.
Hurshimchung Spa: The biggest hot spring in Dongrae. It gives visitors a refreshment with various tubs and pools.
Traveling South Korea in June, 2017.

허심청스파(虛心廳溫泉): 동래온천에서 가장 큰 시설. 다양한 테마탕과 욕장으로 휴식할 수 있는 곳.

Gukje Market, the largest traditional market in Busan, is a place steeped in history. Gukje Market humbly began during the Korean War in 1950 as a place for war refugees to try to eke out a living, soon growing into a large, busy market. Even today, the area is bursting with the old-fashioned marketplace spirit, similar to that of Namdaemun Market in Seoul. Shops in Gukje Market sell an assortment of new and used items. Since vendors deal in both wholesale and retail sales, the average customer can purchase various items at incredibly inexpensive prices. Though still one of Korea’s most popular markets, the Gukje Market used to be the very center of commerce as both military supplies for the U.S. armies and imported goods came through the neighboring port city. The Market is located near several other tourist attractions in Busan: the Bupyeong Market, Jagalchi Market, and Nampo-dong.
