In the city of Utsunomiya in Japan, they are crazy about gyoza! Inside and outside the train station are many restaurants that specialize in gyoza (potstickers). There's even a gyoza statue! This video highlights gyoza street inside the train station, and two of the restaurants outside of the station.

Utsunomiya is a city on Japan’s main Honshu island. It’s known for gyoza dumplings, available at many specialty restaurants. Northwest of the center, Oya-ji Temple has a huge statue of the goddess Kannon carved from the area’s distinctive green stone.
A former underground quarry is a home to the Oya History Museum. Utsunomiya Museum of Art exhibits works by Chagall, Klee and other modernists.

Utsunomiya ( 宇都宮市 ) is the capital and largest city of Tochigi Prefecture, in the northern Kantō region of Japan. As of June 1, 2019, the city had an estimated population of 519,223, and a population density of 1,246 persons per square kilometre (3,230/sq mi). Its total area is 416.85 km2 (160.95 sq mi). Utsunomiya is famous for its gyoza (pan fried dumplings). There are more than two hundred gyoza restaurants in Utsunomiya.
Greater Utsunomiya (宇都宮都市圏 Utsunomiya Toshi-ken) had a population of 888,005 in the 2000 census. The nearby city of Oyama is included in Greater Tokyo, but Greater Utsunomiya is not, despite the two areas amalgamating somewhat. It is the 10th most populated city in the Kantō region.

I go out for breakfast.
Utsunomiya is famous for dumplings.
There is a restaurant to which dumplings are offered from early morning in Utsunomiya station.
I went there.
I ordered a morning dumpling set.
There was very much gravy and the dumplings were good.

2016 Nisei Week Festival - Gyoza Eating Championship - August 20-21, 2016
The 2016 Nisei Week Festival and World Gyoza Eating Championship this past weekend. It was my first time to a professional eating competition, I'm glad I got to see and film it. Afterwards I met a few of the competitors including the winner Matt Stonie.

For dinner we went to Oo-Kook for Korean BBQ for my birthday. It was our first time here, pretty good, maybe not worth the extra cost over O Dae San though. We had 10 people and went through at least 10 plates of bulgogi, 6 kalbi, a few pork belly, a few pork cheeks, a couple places of shrimp, veggies, and a few others I can't remember.
The following day my family took me to Din Tai Fung for xiao lin bao. It was a 3 hours wait at the South Coast Plaza location, we were so hungry we ordered 60 pork XLB and 10 kimchee and pork, along with 5 orders of cucumbers, 2 orders of pork, a beef noodle soup, 10 taro XLB, and 2 bobas. This was for 4 adults and 2 kids, a little too much food.
A few hours later I had dinner at my mom's for Drew and my birthdays, my cousin Kiyoshi just broke his leg so we got take out from Sushi-Ya in La Palma. Pretty good Japanese food for Orange County.
