DA NANG TO HOI AN ON THE LOCAL BUS ????????
DANANG TO HOI AN ON THE LOCAL BUS | TRAVEL VLOG
Travel Vlog Day 62 -
After spending New Years in Da Nang, Paul and I take the local #1 yellow bus to Hoi An, the Ancient City!
To encourage tourists to visit Da Nang, the local governement launched a direct bus from Da Nang to Hoi An, for only 25.000 VND (roughly $1). This is by far the cheapest way to travel to Hoi An, and in our opinion, most fun! I think its healthy to take public transportation from time to time when visiting a foreign country and travel like the locals do. While this bus was made to encourage tourists to travel to and from this beautiful city, we were the only ones the whole trip. The bus we were on were full of locals, and we meet some very nice people who worked for the bus who wanted to practice their English.
Here is some basic information about the Da Nang to Hoi an #1 Local Bus:
Distance: Da Nang to Hoi An 40km
Cost: 25.000 VND (roughly $1)
Journey Time: 70-80 Minutes
Bus Services: Start at 5:30 am and stop operating around 6:00 pm, with a frequency of 1 bus every 20 minutes (you can use google maps to help with find the nearest bus stops and bus times)
Other: You can purchase your tickets when you get on the bus - and while the employees don't always speak English, they are a bright yellow and very hard to miss!

FREE Walking Tour Da Nang Vietnam - NZ Vlogging Couple Explore Danang
Just landed in Da Nang Vietnam? Then you definitely want to chek this out! This great initiative has local university students taking you for a walk around some of the well know land marks in Danang, sharing both historical and personal experiences along the way and it is all in English. Did we mention it is a free tour ! (If you enjoy the tour, then you have an opportunity at the end to leave a tip).
We did the morning walking tour and it was a great way to start the day. Our guides were fantastic, full of information and so enthusiastic.Because we are living in Danang Vietnam for the next 3 months, we took the opportunity to ask as many questions about life here as we could and the girls were so eager to engage in conversation and help us as much as they could.
If you are looking for, or thinking about doing a free walking tour in Vietnam, make it this one.
We tell you even more about the experience in our blog,

We are Leon and Tash, a New Zealand vlogging couple who set off on an amazing Vietnam adventure, as fulltime travellers, backpacking Vietnam.
But we weren't going to travel to Vietnam for one of those ordinary backpacking Vietnam trips you hear about everybody doing, where they go for a couple off weeks and check out the beaches or maybe riding through Vietnam at such a crazy pace that they never get off the beaten track. No we want more than that.
Our Vietnam adventures start with learning the way of the locals, taking just enough time to figure out how things work, discover what the Must see places in Vietnam are and more importantly where Vietnam's hidden gems are...
To do this, we moved to Danang Vietnam. The plan was to spend 3 months living in Da Nang, meeting and learning from locals about the culture, the amazing food, their way of living and what places they would recommend to travel in Vietnam.
And because Danang is in the middle of the country, we hoped we might meet other tourists or expats who were having their own Vietnam travel adventure or were at the halfway point of motorcycle riding through Vietnam and hear from them, what places they thought we must visit in Vietnam. Also, as new travel vloggers, having a base there meant we could try things like doing Da Nang Vietnam travel vlog or creating a Danang Vietnam travel guide, before also taking on the stresses of fulltime travel.
Then in month 4, that's when the real Vietnam adventure begins. With our new list of must see places, we will head to Saigon and buy a couple of motorbikes. to start our Vietnam road trip!
Motorcycle riding through Vietnam seems like one of the most hectic, crazy and chaotic things anyone could do, but we can't wait!! And we wont be following a simple South to North / Saigon to Hanoi route, we plan on doing more like a figure 8, so that our travel in Vietnam will cover both the inland and coastal areas of this amazing country.
So can we still say we are backpacking Vietnam? Or should we be telling people our travel in Vietnam is a motorcycle trip through Vietnam? We're not sure, but what we do know is, our Vietnam road trip is going to cover over 6000km's from Saigon right up to the famous waterfalls of Ban Gioc near Cao Bang, round the northern point of the Ha Giang loop and everything else we can access in between. So we hope you'll join us, the New Zealand vlogging couple, on our Vietnam adventure by clicking subscribe to join the Tribe and experience our travel in Vietnam..

Lady Buddha Da Nang 2018 - Travel Vietnam
We took Bob for his first run up some hills, to go and see the famous Da Nang Lady Buddha. This is actually part of the Chua Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Mountain in Danang, Vietnam and is an amazing place to visit.
It is home to a number of temples, statues and bonzai trees, plus it has amazing views looking over the ocean and back towards the city.
We went early, around 6am, as it can get really busy with tour buses starting to arrive around 8:30am and everyone swinging wild with selfie sticks. It can also get quite hot up there during the day, as there is minimal shade, so be sure to wear a hat and take plenty of water with you.
It is only around a 10min ride or drive from the city and well worth a visit.

DA NANG TO HUE DAY TRIP | TRAIN RIDE VIETNAM (2019)
A how to guide on getting from Da Nang to Hue. The train costs us $5 USD for a sleeper train seat and $3 USD soft seats. I highly recommend that you pop by the train station a day in advance to book your seats and bring your passport to buy the ticket. If you want the best views sleeper train is the way to go as you get much more space in your ride, however soft seats gives you a more local experience.
If you are travelling from Da Nang to Hue you will need to sit on the right side for the views and sit on the left side from Hue to Da nang.
The total trip took us 3 hours to get there. There are 6 trains per day. And not to forget there is a toilet and food available on board.
Our train ride leaves the suburbs of Da Nang behind and passes many beautiful farms, rice fields and of course the famous Hai Van Pass. Apart from the railway there is no sign of human habitation, just natural palm forests and untouched coastlines.
Once we arrived in Hue we booked a late night train back to Da nang, and spent the whole day exploring their small yet quaint city.
Please leave a comment down below on your favourite part of my day trip to Hue, or if you have any recommendations of places i should catch a train to whilst here in Vietnam please let me know also :)
Thanks for watching!

About me:
Hi my name is Lana,
I come from the north of New Zealand.
I made the decision to quit my job as a nurse and go travelling. I enjoy slow travel and spending more time in each city to get a feel for the culture and how the locals truly live. Travelling can be hard when you don't have the information you need, especially as a tourist, the prices of things are usually heightened. My vlogs will show you how you too can travel cheaply, less touristy and how to travel full time.
My aim is to show you the realness of travelling, and to give you the information that you need as a traveller.
So I hope you can follow me on my journey to see this lovely world of ours!

Raised in the mountains of Colorado, we met working for the United States Olympic Committee and fell in love! Not long after that, we moved to downtown Denver and in our first year living in the city, we caught our travel bug. We started making videos, starting with Alex's first trip to Europe. We fell in love with travel, culture, and food. That was all it took, 2 years in the making we decided we were ready to take off to Southeast Asia and travel.
We wanted to document all our travels mostly for us to look back on and laugh, but also for others to learn and enjoy as well. Our goal is to travel all over the world. This is the beginning of our life of travel, who knows where it will take us but that's the exciting part! We're incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported us and blessed to be able to do what we love every day. Thanks for joining us!

MARBLE MOUNTAIN DANANG CITY | Hoi An, Vietnam Travel Vlog 073, 2017
One of the coolest things to do in Danang is a trip to Marble Mountain. It's located just out of Danang City so is an easy 25 minute travel from Hoi An to the Marble Mountains as well. As with a lot of Vietnam, this đà nẵng attraction has a lot of history, war stories and myths.
You'll find a map available to make sure you see everything, because there are 5 mountains in the cluster, or you can just wing it and walk around yourself finding views across the beach, Da Nang City and other mountains while exploring caves and temples etc.
Overall Mabrle Mountain is a cool attraction if you're based in Hoi An or Da Nang and is well worth the visit - a great Vietnam gem! This travel vlog is our experience from September 2017.

Da Nang to Hoi An by Bus or Bike, Travel Vietnam 2018
We decided to head down to Hoi An for a few days but first we had a dilemma. We had heard the trip from Danang to Hoi An using the the public bus was quite an adventure, but then we also knew we would need Bob down there with us to get around, if we wanted to head out of the Old Town Hoi An...What to do?
It was easy really, I'd catch the bus and Tash would ride Bob down, but would we both make it? Who would get there first? What was our experiences of the trip like?
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) Airport - ???????? Vietnam - 4K Virtual Tour
Walking around the public and transit zone at the Da Nang Airport. Click here ▶ to see highlights and guide.
(From Wiki):
Da Nang International Airport is located in Da Nang, the largest city in central Vietnam. It is the third international airport in the country, besides Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), and is an important gateway to access central Vietnam.
In addition to its civil aviation, the runway is shared with the Vietnamese People's Air Force, although military activities are now extremely limited. The airport served 5 million passengers in 2014, reaching that passenger count around six years sooner than expected. An expansion of the new terminal is currently considered to increase its capacity to 10 million passengers per annum by 2020. This airport handled 6,722,587 passengers in 2015, an increase of 34.7% compared with that of 2014.
