The Six Foot Track and Kanangra Walls with Sydney Adventure Riders
30 bikes from all makes and models set off from Richmond, NSW, with the aim to ride The Six Foot Track and end up at Kanangra Walls.
On the way, we detoured through my current-favourite practise track, Burralow Creek and Patterson Range Fire Trail. After The Six Foot Track, the group then stopped at Jenolan Caves.
I didn't stop for lunch, so I suspect I might be the only rider who actually made it to Kanangra Walls. It was worth it.
Enjoy the ride!

Long Plain Campground filmed by Sky Eye UAV Solutions
The original building was built by Bobby Joyce for Dr Campbell to support his grazing leases. Bill Oddy was the Manager up until the late 1930's.
The original shingle roof was covered in 1927. Col Ibbotson then managed it for various owners up until 1959. Alvy Oddy was the last leaseholder until late in the 1960's.
It is now a NPWS rest area, and was badly vandalised until a full restoration in 2002. Fences now keep the cars away from the buildings.
It is commonly used by the horse riding community. Horses are welcome at a separate campground to the left of the entrance road.
Construction
The building is large at 7m by 11m. It is constructed of timber and lined with a wooden floor. There are four main rooms and a verandah. The chimneys are mud mortared rock with iron flues. An old privy stands nearby, along with a NPWS standard issue toilet.
Caretakers The Land Rover Club of the ACT took over the maintenance of this hut, after their successful work on Old Currango.

Hiking in Melbourne - Kokoda Track Memorial Walk -1000 Steps - Dandenong Ranges
The 1000 Steps in Dandenong Ranges is a very popular trekking spot among the fitness fanatics across Melbourne. We started our trip from the Southern Cross Railway Station in Melbourne CBD and got down at Upper Ferntree Gully station at the Dandenong Ranges. You get to choose from three trails the Lyrebird Fitness Track, Kokoda Track, Ramblers Walk. We walked about 5-6KM(including the up and down distance from the railway station) and it took us around 2:30 hours in total. This vlog is about exploring the 1000 steps and the other trails in Dandenong Ranges.
The Kokoda Track in Dandenong Ranges is created in memory of the soldiers who fought and died on the real Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, during World War II. There are plaques across the trail which contains useful information regarding the track. Do stop and read these which will help you with a better understanding as well as catch your breath.
We started our trek by choosing the Kokoda Track and then went further forward to the Picnic spot on the top before you started our descent via the Lyrebird fitness track.
