Our 1st Dive on 18th Jan 2013 on the HMAS Perth off Albany, this was the stern part of the wreck the forward section was more interesting, note the massive gun on this dive.

It was built in Michigan USA in 1962, and had a crew of 333 (21 officers and 312 sailors). The HMAS Perth was scuttled on 24th November 2001 in King George Sound, some 500 metres off Seal Rock in 38 metres of water. The hole thing was filmed on my GoPro hero witch was mounted to the side of my helmet. didn't see the bug on my lens of some miles. hope you enjoy watching

HMAS Perth is a 133-metre long guided missile destroyer scuttled in the pristine waters of King George Sound in Albany in late November 2001. This is my 2nd Dive on the Wreck, the forward half of the ship, much more interesting than the aft section. Vis ~15m, temp 20 Deg C

HMAS Perth
A dive completed on the 29/12/2014 on the HMAS Perth, a cruiser which was scuttled on the 24th of November 2001. It is located in King George Sound, Albany, Western Australia at a range of depths from 5m above water to 36m at the bottom.

Just a quick collection of our boat trip out to dive the HMAS Perth (look it up some of the dive youtubes others have done for what it looks like underwater) in Albany, then a view of its mast from Whale World where Oz carried on with commercial whaling right up until November 1978, and then a brief encounter LSCP and I had with one of W.A.'s venomous frog and rodent eaters. :)
