Meghrak Abdelli, 4K Aerial video footage |مغراق عبدللي
Meghrak Abdelli, Batroun North Lebanon. The old blue wooden house that People call it the happy place. 7500 square meters of timeless trees, on sight, horsetail, sindian, and peeves ... In the middle is a hut of wood, sparrows, yolks and swallows chirping in defiance, and an environmentalist who watches over the protection of nature. The queen, and the queen are green, and to those who walk to that virgin land, be warned: No tree is forbidden to be touched.
The story is very old, dating back at least 200 years, according to Dr. Hanina Abi-Nader, to the days of our great grandfather. It is said that he went to that land one day, and caught a bird that fell in the air. When he wanted to take him, one of the neighbors confronted him with his place, and therefore the dead bird of his. But the grandfather said, The land is yours today, but it is mine tomorrow. Grandpa collected enough money and bought the land, according to the story.
What he did then still attests to what he wanted to become that land. He planted Hawar in a square shape, he built hay from straw and the time went by, Abu Nader tells. The age of trees in that green hump is at least 200 years, according to his estimates. A small forest darkened and its treasures, in the middle of which is a simple wooden hut built about 25 years ago.
Meaning in the same name. The landfill, as described in the real estate document, is called a calcareous land that drowns in the water in the winter and a small lake turns to question the use of the boat or jeep to pass through. A natural paradise in Abdali in the district of Batroun, not like any other land in Lebanon.
The tree is more important than the house
Since the great grandfather ... The years passed, and the land remained the property of the Abi Nader family, before Dr. Hanina, a specialist in preventive medicine and researcher at Johns Hopkins University, took over all of his affairs after returning from the United States several months ago. When I visited her one day and I was still in the United States, I was surprised by the chaos in it, people cutting old popcorn to sell it, others catching birds or throwing their waste away.
The land of ancestors is more precious than being so easily abandoned. As of January 15, 2017, Abu Nader banned all these things. Clean the ground. Plans. Organized. Preventing the entry of cars, and set conditions for the visit of the dumping, making them a protected. This means that fishing is prohibited 500 meters from the borders of the land, according to the law. The ministries of agriculture and the environment will also provide trees for planting very soon.
Along the above native story, the old blue house is still used for filming tv series and artists video clips..

A Video footage showing the beautiful monastery of saint savior (Deir el mokhales mkhales) in sarba jounieh Lebanon, along with its church and awesome location on a hill above jounieh sea shore, the monastery belong to the melkite greek catholic church.
The Melkite Greek Catholic Church is an Eastern Catholic Church
in full communion with the Holy See as part of the worldwide Catholic Church.
It is headed by Patriarch Youssef Absi,
headquartered in Cathedral of Our Lady of the Dormition, Damascus, Syria.
The Melkites, Byzantine Rite Catholics, trace their history to the early Christians of Antioch, formerly part of Syria and now in Turkey, of the 1st century AD, where Christianity was introduced by Saint Peter.
The Melkite Church is related to the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch,
from which it separated de facto in the mid-18th century.
It is mainly centered in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.
Melkite Greek Catholics are present, however, throughout the world by
migration due to persecution. Outside the Near East,
the Melkite Church has also grown through intermarriage with, and the conversion of, people of various ethnic heritages as well as transritualism. Melkite, from the Syriac word malka for King and the Arabic word Malaki meaning royal, and by extension, imperial,
The term Catholic acknowledges communion with the Church of Rome and implies participation in the universal Christian church. According to Church tradition, the Melkite Church of Antioch is the oldest continuous Christian community in the world.
The Basilian Aleppian Order is a religious order of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church.
The order was founded in 1697 in Dhour El Shuwayr by Aleppine monks
who arrived from the area of Aleppo to follow the rule of Saint Basil.
It was approved in 1710. Between 1824 and 1832 the order split
from the main congregation; the Basilian Chouerite Order.
Currently, the headquarters of the order are located in
The Monastery of our Saviour Sarba, Jounieh,
The Monastery of the Holy Savior, is a beautiful white stone building
with arches and a nice churchyard.
The Monastery is built upon a Mamluke-period citadel,
which was constructed on the remains of a roman temple.
The main monastery building sits on the 6-7 meter high walls of the Roman Temple,
which was probably dedicated to the god Serapis. A bas-relief head of Apis, the Roman bull god, is located in the middle of the north wall.
It is believed that the Roman temple probably had a subterranean passage through the cliff to the St. George's Grotto in Kaslik.
