Adelaide Hills ENORMOUS Strawberries!
A fun and delicious thing to do in the picturesque Adelaide Hills is to visit the Beerenberg Family farm and pick your own ENORMOUS Strawberries. It costs $4 to access the patch and pick your own fruit (which costs approx. $10AU/kg) and, of course, you can eat as many as you like while doing it!
The season runs from November to April and the farm is open from 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week!
Take the Freeway exit to Hahndorf and drive through the town: the farm is out the other end of the township and you can't miss it!

남호주 애들레이드 여행 독일마을 한돌프 Hahndorf

Gepps Cross Sunday Markets - 2019 - Adelaide Travel, Australia (Virtual Tour)
Gepps Cross / Gepps Cross X Sunday Markets Walk
Just a stroll through the Gepps Cross Sunday Market on 15th September 2019 - the first time I've used a GoPro (Hero 7 Black with Chesty Mount) so Apologies for the rocky footage!
I'd probably get much better footage if the Camera was positioned around my abdomen but ah well, there's always next time!
This Market has Fresh Produce straight from the farmers at a fraction of the price compared to supermarket giants (For example, Avocados cost $4-5 per Kilogram at this Market whereas a Single Avocado costs $2-3 EACH at Woolworths/Coles!!). This Market also has various Second Hand Goods including Collectibles and Cheap Electronics/Goods.
Gepps Cross Markets is located at 588 Main North Rd; Gepps Cross, South Australia, Australia 5094 and is Open Every Early Sunday Mornings till Midday.

Adelaide Central Market, Adelaide, Australia.
The Adelaide Central Market is a must see if you are in Adelaide. It is located between Gouger and Grote Streets right next to China Town. It's open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You can buy nearly anything there - fresh and prepared foods, as well as souvenirs and clothes. And there are a number of food courts as well as cafes and restaurants there too.
Organically Grown an Organic Food Store in Adelaide offering organic Fruit and Vegetables
Organically Grown has been proudly supporting organic produce for over 20 years. In fact it is Adelaide's longest and best organic retail outlet.
Why the best? Lots of reasons really. The owner Clinton is not only extremely passionate about organic food, but is also very knowledgeable and farms organically himself. Secondly because Clinton is so passionate about organic food, he attracts like minded farmers to supply him and like minded staff to help him, in a shop that is has a buzz and excitement to it.

Do you like Gin? Check out these two Adelaide Hills Gins
The Dr and the Chef are huge fans of local business, and new and emerging distilleries that seem to be popping up all over Australia. While we were enjoying the fabulous spring weather in Adelaide, we thought we would sample two local gin's on offer at the Edinburgh Hotel in Adelaide.
We specifically sample:
The Ambleside Big Dry Gin - Hanhdorf
Adelaide Hills Distillery 78Degrees Sunset Gin
These Gins are a little bit different, and were served over ice with some fruit, and were very refreshing. Check out this latest episode of the Dr and the Chef to see what we thought of these local Adelaide hills region Gins.
