This luxury resort has it all - gorgeous rooms, sparkling pools, an on site water park and aquarium plus shopping, multiple restaurants (including an Underwater option) and more! The impressive lobby, courteous staff and all-you-can-eat buffet are even more reasons to kick up your feet and soak up the sun at this beautiful hotel.
Atlantis Hotel in Sanya, China officially opened April 28, 2018. Aquaventure is their in-house water park and The Lost Chambers Aquarium is also on site. Both feature unlimited access to all hotel guests.

I had always been curious about Sanya City and Hainan Island. I finally had the opportunity to visit Sanya City and I'm so glad I did! Many people refer to Hainan Island as China's Hawaii. After living in Hawaii for five years myself, I can definitely see the similarities. Follow me as I explore Sanya and the surrounding area of Hainan Island China.

We were invited to Hainan island in China by Sanyas tourism board. It intrigued us as Sanya is not a typical Chinese travel destination for western tourists. It is a tropical paradise and Chinas answer to Hawaii. This is an undiscovered gem and importantly has a visa waiver program for Hainan island.
When I think of China, I don't think of beaches but thats exactly what we Sanya in China has beautiful beaches.

Dadonghai Xiaodonghai SANYA China's HAWAII ⛱????
We lived in Sanya on Hainan island/province for 1 year in 2016/2017, our home was by the beach and we went swimming ALL THE TIME!
Dadonghai and Xiaodonghai are beaches in Sanya city with a lot of hotels resorts and Chinese and Russian tourists. We went there all the time to play and swim in the sea and eat ice cream with our Dad.
Me and my sister went to the international school of Sanya, and had sooooooo many friends!
JW Marriott Hotel Sanya. Hainan Island China
This is one of the newest properties of the JW Marriott Portfolio in China. The hotel is located right in front of a white sandy beach and close to many restaurants and shopping. Service and attention is excellent. Rooms are spacious and most boast expansive views to the sea. There are great outdoors spaces with lush tropical gardens and areas to exercise and relax.

We just stayed at the new Atlantis Sanya China resort. The hotel, the pools, the water park, the shows, and the food were all fantastic. It is such a huge property that I broke it up into 2 parts. The best part was that over spring break when everything is crowded in the US, no one here!!!!

In this China travel vlog we stay at the Hilton Yalong Bay and get to see one of China's best beaches! You get a lot for your money here in China, which means you can enjoy luxury travel on a budget.
The afternoon is spent hiking up to a viewpoint of Sanya and trying some delicious Chinese food, including Chinese hot pot as well as an all-inclusive buffet dinner at the Hilton. The delicious Chinese cuisine has definitely been one of the highlights of our China travel series and something that sets it apart from other beach destinations.
