Japan Airlines Business Class (Class J) - Tokyo (Haneda) to Hakodate (JL 585) - Boeing 767-300
In this video, we explore the domestic Business Class product on a Japan Airlines Boeing 767-300 flight from Tokyo (Haneda) to Hakodate.
JL 585 is an early morning flight and we arrive shortly after the airport opens at 5AM. Of note, the Japan Airlines (JAL) terminal is separated according to the flight destination so it's important to check which terminal (north or south) you need to check-in to.
Priority check-in is available at the Japan Global Club desk. There's also a private security screening area for premium passengers. After entering the secured part of the terminal, we explore the Sakura Lounge. The food and drink offerings in the lounge are very basic. However, there's plenty of seating and work space available. Of note, there's a Ladies Lounge and special section for kids & family.
After checking out the lounge, we head to board the flight and review the domestic Class J product. The seat is a simple leather recliner seat, which is comfortable enough for the short flight. There is no meal service after take-off; there's only a basic drinks offering available. There is free 15 minutes of WiFi on-board, with more more internet time available for purchase. The IFE on board is basic and mainly in Japanese. The service is polite and efficient.
After landing in Hakodate, we are the first to disembark from the flight and our priority-tagged baggage are one of the first to emerge at the baggage carousel.

ANA Flight Tokyo to Sapporo
Here one staff member at the gate processing 269 passengers for the flight to Sapporo.
Every passenger is polite and respectful and they line up and wait for the turn in silence and respect before scan their boarding pass and the staff member thanking them as they approved to pass through the gates.
Flight was silent as passengers are all politely minding their own business and very mindful of others around them at all times.
Also On arrival at the gate the gate staff are welcoming the aircraft and the passengers with a bow. You are able to see this towards end of the video.

Short report about domestic flight in Japan with Japan Airlines Class J (Business class). Class J is business class in domestic flight, but without meal services, alcoholic beverages, and lounge service. An extra ¥1,000 (about $9), you can have much more comfortable seat.
The flight is from Naha, Okinawa to Haneda, Tokyo. It was about 2 hour and 30 minute flight. There are no personal screens. However, there was free wi-fi available in this flight with no limit, so you could enjoy in-flight entertainment service on your own devices.

Another excellent flight on Japan Airlines Economy Class. Service was very good and attentive on this 7+ hours flight to Jakarta. The seats were also wider and more comfortable than most economy seats I've been on. Good size IFE screen, plenty of movies, games, and other entertainment were available during the flight. the legroom was ample for my 5'7 height. Food was very good quality considering this was economy class. I would give this flight a good 8.5 out of 10. A full report will be on my blog soon...
