Fall of the Samurai: Battle of Hakodate

Sapporo to Hakodate Day trip by road| 札幌から函館へ一日旅行
Located on the southern tip of Hokkaido, the city of Hakodate exceeded all our expectations. We hit the road to hunt some Cherry Blossom and Natural beauty during this Golden week (2019), so glad we chose Hakodate.
Starting from Sapporo at 06:30 am, we began by catching a glimpse of the mighty Mount Yotei. After covering all the scenic spots along the way, we reached Hakodate in the afternoon. The moment our vehicle stopped at the Goryukaku, we could hardly contain the excitement… All the trees (over 1000) in full bloom! Later, we hopped on to Mount Hakodate Rope way to see the top view, one of its kind in Japan. Returned all burnt up at around midnight :D
This trip is highly recommended, we covered a lot in a day. If you like to explore more of Hakodate a night stay can be added.

Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, Mt. Hakodate Ropeway: JAPAN VLOG EP5
We walked around at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse. It's mostly shopping and eating. We ate a lot of different things and the kids enjoyed it a lot. We got our lunch at Seico Mart, which is a convenience store in Hakodate. Everything looked good and was cheap compared to the US, so we went overboard and loaded up next day's breakfast as well. At night time, we went up to one of the most well known spots in Hakkodate for some night view at Mt. Hakodate.

Part 16 - Red Brick Warehouses along the waterfront in the bay area of Hakodate
Trip to Hokkaido-Day 2
Day 2 Of Hokkaido,Japan. We visited the famous Asaichi Market. After that, we went to vist the charming historical buildings, such as Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward and Old Hakodate Meijikan Post Office. After that, the starshaped fort was built in 1864 for the defence of Hokkaido against invasion and now is a park open to the pibluc. Thereafter, visit Mount Hakodate for a perfect night view of this romantic city.
