白山ジオトレイル2014 STAGE4-1 ／ Hakusan Geotrail 2014 (JPN) Stage4-1 [runner's eye view]
2014年8月23-29日にかけて石川県白山市で開催された、食料自給自足250km7日間6ステージ制のアドベンチャートレイルレース『白山ジオトレイル2014』。その4日目。白山一里野温泉〜加賀禅定道〜室堂
The Hakusan Geotrail 2014 took place in Hakusan city, Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan.
The Hakusan Geotrail is 6stages race of 7days. The 1st time race was from August 23 to 29 in 2014.
Along the 250 kilometers / 155 miles of the Hakusan Geotrail course, the terrain include grasslands, farmlands, dirt tracks, riverbeds, rolling hills, mountain valleys, plains and plateaus.
Competitors pass through local villages and grazing lands where shepherds tend to their flocks.
The course has a number of highlights, including the Hakusan National Park area (where the famous sacred mountain of Japan), Mt. Hakusan (2,702m height), Hakusan-Tedorigawa geopark, Syugendou; Japanese mountain asceticism-shamanism incorporating Shinto and Buddhist concepts.
Located in the foothills of Hakusan mountain.
Athletes are provided with water and a place to stay in a tent each day and are also supported by professional medical and operations teams.
