Cuyahoga Valley National Park - Hale Farm Artisans - Park Travel Review
At the Cuyahoga Valley's southwestern edge sits an impressive three-story red brick house surrounded by 140 acres of fields, gardens, and woods. Familiar to many school children, it is a now popular regional attraction that overlooks a recreated historical village.
The artisans and crafters that demonstrated their crafts while we visited were, the blacksmith, the glass blower, wool spinner, and the wool dyer.
Hale Farm and Village is a historic property of the Western Reserve Historical Society in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. It is within the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The address is: 2686 Oak Hill Rd, Bath, OH 44210

Buy Local, Eat Local and Enjoy 90 Beautiful Acres of History
It's not often that a single person inspires a major event. Renee Flynn, a resident of Bath, Ohio did just that when she became the driving force behind the Made in Ohio Festival. In January of 2010, Renee approached Hale Farm and Village with a crafty idea.
Hale Farm and Village is the perfect place to hold a festival of products and handcrafts made only in Ohio, she told them, and Hale Farm and Village agreed. Thus, the Made in Ohio Festival was born. The idea grew out of Renee's own crafting experience.
The Second Annual Made in Ohio Festival is Sat 9/3 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. @ Hale Farm and Village, 2686 Oak Hill Road in Bath, Ohio. The festival will include over 50 vendors offering a variety of handmade products ranging from jewelry, potter and class to carvings, soap and much more.

Camp Chase Fifes and Drums - Hale Farm & Village 2018/8/11 -12
This is portions of the Camp Chase Fifes and Drums performance at Hale Farm and Village in Bath, OH (Akron metro area) on Aug. 11-12, 2018. The Camp Chase Fifes and Drums has been a leader in historical military field music since 1983. Camp Chase is an authentic recreation of a Civil War-period regimental fife and drum corps named after the combined Union Army training camp and Confederate prisoner of war camp that was located near Columbus, Ohio during the American Civil War. Their music, played on authentic wooden fifes and rope tension drums, comes from the military field music manuals used by the armies of the United States and Europe from the mid-18th century to the late-19th century. Michael T. Silver Killed in Action During Civil War Story
This video tells the story of 60th O.V.I. Co. B 1st Sargeant Michael T. Silver and his battlefield wooden grave marker found in a barn in Wayne County Ohio. According to military records the 60th Ohio Volunteer Infantry was mustered into service on April 5, 1864. On April 19, 1864 they boarded a train in Columbus, Ohio and rode in freight cars bound for Washington D.C.; heading straight into the heart of the War at the time. It was at the Battle of Mary’s Bridge on the Nye River, that Michael T. Silver lost his life.

SUMMARY
=======
Seattle ( (listen) see-AT-əl) is a seaport city on the West Coast of the United States. It is the seat of King County, Washington. With an estimated 744,955 residents as of 2018, Seattle is the largest city in both the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest region of North America. According to U.S. Census data released in 2018, the Seattle metropolitan area's population stands at 3.94 million, and ranks as the 15th largest in the United States. In July 2013, it was the fastest-growing major city in the United States and remained in the top 5 in May 2015 with an annual growth rate of 2.1%. In July 2016, Seattle was again the fastest-growing major U.S. city, with a 3.1% annual growth rate. Seattle is the northernmost large city in the United States.
The city is situated on an isthmus between Puget Sound (an inlet of the Pacific Ocean) and Lake Washington, about 100 miles (160 km) south of the Canada–United States border. A major gateway for trade with Asia, Seattle is the fourth-largest port in North America in terms of container handling as of 2015.The Seattle area was inhabited by Native Americans for at least 4,000 years before the first permanent European settlers. Arthur A. Denny and his group of travelers, subsequently known as the Denny Party, arrived from Illinois via Portland, Oregon, on the schooner Exact at Alki Point on November 13, 1851. The settlement was moved to the eastern shore of Elliott Bay and named Seattle in 1852, in honor of Chief Si'ahl of the local Duwamish and Suquamish tribes. Today, Seattle has high populations of Native, Scandinavian, African, and Asian Americans, as well as a thriving LGBT community that ranks 6th in the United States for population.Logging was Seattle's first major industry, but by the late 19th century, the city had become a commercial and shipbuilding center as a gateway to Alaska during the Klondike Gold Rush. Growth after World War II was partially due to the local Boeing company, which established Seattle as a center for aircraft manufacturing. The Seattle area developed into a technology center from the 1980s onwards with companies like Microsoft becoming established in the region; Microsoft founder Bill Gates is a Seattleite by birth. Internet retailer Amazon was founded in Seattle in 1994, and major airline Alaska Airlines is based in SeaTac, Washington, serving Seattle's international airport, Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. The stream of new software, biotechnology, and Internet companies led to an economic revival, which increased the city's population by almost 50,000 between 1990 and 2000. Owing largely to its rapidly increasing population in the 21st century, Seattle and the state of Washington have some of the highest minimum wages in the country, at $15 per hour for smaller businesses and $16 for the city's largest employers.Seattle has a noteworthy musical history. From 1918 to 1951, nearly two dozen jazz nightclubs existed al ...

SUMMARY
=======
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is an American national park that preserves and reclaims the rural landscape along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio. Cuyahoga Valley is unusual among American national parks being adjacent to two large urban areas and including a dense road network, small towns, and private attractions.
The 32,572-acre (50.9 sq mi; 131.8 km2) park is administered by the National Park Service, but within its boundaries are areas independently managed as city parks or private businesses. Cuyahoga Valley was originally designated as a National Recreation Area in 1974, then redesignated as a national park 26 years later in 2000, and remains the only national park that originated as a national recreation area.
Cuyahoga Valley is the only national park in the state of Ohio, one of seven Midwestern national parks, and one of two in the Great Lakes Basin, with Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior.
