This is a clip from my newly launched series on vimeo, an exercise library to complement my ebook Balancing the Equation
Each video features the exercise performed from multiple angles, as well as demonstrations of common mistakes you may encounter. Key points are described with a text overlay as well as voice-over, catering to those who prefer to read and/or listen to instructions.
In addition to being useful for students to have a reference to check their form against, this series can also be very helpful to those who teach or coach handstands. It will help them understand the form better as well as sharpen their eye to being able to catch different mistakes their students may be making.

'Twas the Panto before Christmas and all through the gaff,
Were feens, shams and beores, all out for a laff.
Not a script was in sight, neither plot nor direction were clear,
The actors were chancing it, an' playin' it by ear,
Based on audience suggestions, some bad, some worse,
But at least the cast didn't have to rehearse.
Tired of Sleeping Beauty? Sick of Snow White? 'Tis the season for panto alright, but if you're up to your ears in elves and looking for something different, have we got a show for you! ITSA Theatre Company is back in The Half Moon Theatre this December with The Improvised Panto, an alternative to a certain fairy tale on the main stage.
ITSA Theatre Company has gathered some of Cork's funniest actors and improvisers to present a different pantomime each night, based on audience's requests, unlike the other crowd, who are devoting a whole season to a silly wagon who lost her shoe. It's all improvised, so nothing is prepared or scripted. Expect the unexpected, the hilarious and the outrageous as our actors weave their way through classic fairy tales without so much as a trail of breadcrumbs to guide them wherever the audience wants them to go.
It's a whole new world of panto, and anything is possible. Including spontaneous bouts of singing, dancing, laughing, crying and the telling of outrageous lies. And that's just from the audience. Don't worry, the actors will be doing it too. Probably. No rules, no writing, just rollicking bouts of laughter and rib-tickling ridiculousness. Is he in front of you? Is he behind you? Your guess is as good as ours!
Ideal for Christmas and Office Parties. T his is Panto as you've never seen it before...

Fuzhou Cork Paintings
Fuzhou cork art originated in the early years of the Republic of China period in Xiyuan village, Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province. With more than 100 years of history, it was made with the bark of cork oaks found in Europe. This bark had a light and soft texture, fine grain, and a natural and elegant color, which is why it is called cork. From this came cork painting, a unique folk art handicraft in the world.

New Years Eve at Eileens Pub
Silvester 2019/2020 in Eileens irischer Bar in Kilcrohane (County Cork) im Südwesten Irlands: Ausgelassen feiert ab 21 Uhr das halbe Dorf den Jahreswechsel im und vor dem Pub, prosten sich jung und alt mit Irish Stout zu, man unterhält sich, isst Sandwiches am Kamin und tanzt zu Discomusik der 1980er Jahre. Nach dem traditionellen Auld Lang Syne um Mitternacht startet das neue Jahrzehnt mit einem kleinen aber feinen Feuerwerk (auch wenn private Feuerwerke in Irland an sich verboten sind ...). Happy New Year!
New Year's Eve 2019/2020 in Eileen's Irish Bar in Kilcrohane (County Cork) in the southwest of Ireland: Half the village celebrates the turn of the year at the pub from 9 pm on, young and old raise their glasses to another with Irish Stout, chatting, eating sandwiches by the fireplace and dancing to the disco music of the 1980s. After the traditional Auld Lang Syne at midnight, the new decade starts with a small but fine firework (even if private fireworks usually are forbidden in Ireland ...). Happy New Year!
