Hall of the red Earl
It's a rather small area, with information written on boards on the side and a medieval archaeological site in the heart of Galway. It dates back to the 13th century and was Galway's first municipal building and as such was used to collect the taxes, dispense justice and to host banquets.

Walking in GALWAY / Ireland ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Galway is a harbour city in western Ireland. Popular with students and tourists it is a cultural place where Irish music, song and dance traditions are celebrated.
We start our walk at the 18th-century Eyre Square in front of the Pádraic Ó Conaire statue for the Irish writer. We walk into the shopping area and through the Eyre Square Centre Mall which has some part of the old city wall inside.
The Hall of the Red Earl is also on our list - another 13th-century archaeological site. Walking further we enjoy the streets of Galway with many stone-clad cafes, pubs and old churches.
Some other part of the city across the River Corrib is a bit quieter. We continue our round back to the Shop Street and High Street until the weather starts to get rainy and windy. Some Irish weather experience just before can see one more sight - the Spanish Arc, where we end this walk.

Tabara Bookland Irlanda- 26 august-2 septembrie 2019 (rezumat)
Fáilte roimh! (Salut! in limba irlandeza) Ce mai faceti? Curiosi sa stiti ce am facut in ultima tabara din aceasta vara? :)
Superb Galway - da' stiam asta de cativa ani, fiind a 3a noastra tabara in acest oras tineresc. Zilnic am mers pe jos peste 15 km vizitand toate locurile interesante: Cartierul Latin (zilnic!), Muzeul Municipal, Catedrala, Universitatea NUI Galway, Muzeul Inelului Claddagh si Hall of the Red Earl.
Cum altfel sa fie totul in atatea nuante de verde? ;)

River Corrib, Galway * Ireland * A walk by the river Corrib
We had intended to go shopping but it was a beautiful day so as anyone who has ever visited Ireland knows that means you gotta go out and make the most of the sunshine!
We started our walk in Woodquay, where we watched the local rowers. We then headed over to the Salmon weir bridge where we spotted a fisherman, a mother duck and her ducklings. It was hard to see but there was about 6 or 7 ducklings. A nice leisurely stroll among the trees led us down to Wolf Tone bridge, and the Spanish Arch. From there we walked down to the Claddagh an old fishing village where local fishermen moor their boats.
I hope you enjoy this video. It gives you a very small glimpse of the beauty of this city. Galway is one of the best spots in Ireland to visit when in Ireland.
