Halong Bay Luxury Cruise | Signature Cruise
This Halong Bay Luxury Cruise was made possible by:
If you’ve never been to Halong Bay, you need to add taking a luxury cruise through Halong Bay to your bucket list! Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a good reason. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! It’s filled with giant lime stone karsts that jut out of the water in every direction for miles.
The best way to experience the bay is by a luxury cruise. There are tons of cruise ship operators offering cruises through Halong Bay. The cruises range from cheap backpack boats to five start luxury cruise ships. Since visiting Halong Bay is most likely a once in a lifetime experience, we decided to splurge on a 5 star luxury cruise to ensure that we had the best experience possible!
We booked our cruise with Signature Cruise and we were elated with our experience. Seriously, we don’t have a bad thing to say about Signature Cruises, and that should mean a lot coming from me because when I splurge on an experience I am very critical. Also, the staff treated us like royalty! They made our experience even better.
Our luxurious cruise through Halong Bay started with an amazing lunch served while we were cruising to a floating fishing village. After arriving at the floating village we were rowed around the village in a row boat by one of the women who lived in the floating village. After our row boat ride was completed, we visited a pearl farm to learn how pearls are made. To be completely honest, this sounded kind of lame to me when I read it on the itinerary, but it was actually really interesting!
After leaving the pearl farm, we were taken back to the cruise ship. After an hour or so of relaxing and taking in the beautiful views of Halong Bay, we had a cooking class where we learned to make fresh spring rolls. After the cooking class we enjoyed happy hour with more beautiful views. After happy hour, a delicious five course dinner was served aboard the boat. After dinner I had the opportunity to try my hand at squid fishing. I got really lucky and managed to catch 10!

Overnight Cruise in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
Today we sleepover at one of Vietnam's hottest destinations: Ha Long Bay. We take the overnight cruise and sail through its limestone islands. During the day our activities include kayaking, visiting the Thien Cung Cave, rowing by floating houses, and Vietnamese cooking lessons. In the evening we wine and dine, then go squid-fishing. No catch, but it's a way to mingle with other passengers! Watch the video to see the action unfold :)

HALONG BAY TOUR | Day Trip Cruise from Hanoi 2019
Day 32- Took a Halong bay 1 day tour cruise from Hanoi, Vietnam. We booked a 1 day trip with Dragon King Cruises and it was an amazing experience. The cruise we booked was among one of the cheapest and highest rated for the experience.
We found it at a travel agency in Hanoi and it fit all of our needs and budget. We were able to go from Hanoi to Halong Bay and experience a lot of what Halong Bay had to offer for only 35$, in my opinion that is a steal because Ha Long Bay is on of the most beautiful places in the world.
We did many activities in the tour among some of my favorites which were kayaking an underwater cave, exploring sung sot cave, and hiking titop island for some amazing views atop a mountain. Overall really great experience and one of my favorite days in Vietnam.

Some 1,600 islands, thick with greenery, form a maze of channels in the azure waters off northeastern Vietnam. Although people have lived in the region of Ha Long Bay for thousands of years, most of the islands remain uninhabited. But these coves and natural towers are rich with wildlife. For centuries, this spectacular seascape has inspired wonder.
The name Ha Long, Vietnamese for “descending dragon,” is reflected in a legend: Once, when the Viet people faced invasion, a dragon flew down from heaven to their defense. The creature sprayed not only fire, but also jewels that became the green archipelago.
The scientific explanation for the rock formations, known as karst, is also amazing. For millions of years, seashells and sediments fell to an ancient seafloor, forming solid rock. Tectonic activity raised the resulting limestone above water. Rainfall and rivers dissolved exposed rock, and carved valleys that flooded after the last ice age, creating this rare example of a karst field at sea.
Features include lakes and caves through the islands, and notches and tunnels where seawater has worn at the pillars' foundations. The fantastic landscape also continues into two adjacent national parks, on Cat Ba Island and Bai Tu Long Bay.
You can go kayaking, caving, or even take a ride in a seaplane to experience the grandeur of these enchanting tropical islands.

BEST Halong Bay Luxury Cruise | Pelican Luxury Cruise
We found the best Halong Bay Luxury Cruise with the highest reviews, and we're excited for you to experience Pelican Luxury Cruise with us.
Halong Bay is a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site and definitely a world wonder. With so many cruise ships to choose from, we spent ample amounts of time studying reviews and looking into itineraries before landing on Pelican Luxury Cruise. The giant rock formations that jet up out from the water make for an incredible tourist destination that should be added to everyone's bucket list.
As a reference, some of the most popular cruise ships to choose from are Dragon Legend Cruise, Au Co Cruise, Bhaya Cruises, Signature Cruise, and Pelican Cruise. Although we have seen great things from many of these cruise ships including Signature Cruise, we decided on Pelican Cruise because we felt that it had the most positive reviews consistently across all customer age group.
Our experience on the luxury cruise ship was amazing! We started with a delicious lunch of fresh seafood and local Vietnamese cuisines. After lunch, every hour of our day had something special planned. We visited a pearl farm, fished for squid, woke up to tai chi, participated in a food demonstration, hiked one of Halong Bay's tallest island rocks.
If you have any questions regarding our experience with Pelican Cruise, hit us up in the comments below! // Travel Vlog #51 // Halong Bay, Vietnam

Hi! We grew up on opposite ends of the United States in Texas and Ohio. Later in college, we met and got married in August of 2016. As poor newlyweds and recent college grads, we moved to New York City to begin what we thought would be our long careers in finance. Only one year later, after accumulating over 2 million miles and points through travel hacking, we booked round-the-world business class tickets to over 40 countries for free. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned, and began this once-in-a-lifetime adventure on August 27, 2018. Chad has always loved creating home videos to hold onto the memories we share while traveling, so we started this YouTube channel as a place to share our adventures with friends and family. WHERE TO GO & STAY IN VIETNAM | ATHENA CRUISE, Ha Long Bay | Vietnam Travel Guide 2019
We spent 1 week exploring the incredible Vietnam and we went to Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Danang and Hoi An. In this video I have added where to go, where to stay, how to go and also cost of hotels and places of Vietnam. You can consider it as a travel guide of Vietnam.
One thing i forgot to mention in the video is that, most of the time we used Grab Taxi to move from one place to another, but you can also hire bikes at a very cheap rate for a whole day or for few hours. bike renting stores are available in everywhere.
Brief Intro About Those Places:
——————————————————
Hanoi
————
Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is beautiful and so culturally rich! It's a perfect blend of Asian and European influence.
Ha Long Bay
———————
Ha Long Bay is Vietnam's paradise. It's the number 1 tourist destination in this country. When you travel to Vietnam, this has to be on your list. Halong Bay is littered with limestone islands that form a landscape unparalleled in its beauty and uniqueness. You will want to take a boat tour to see all these islets and islands scattered across the ocean.
Danang
—————
Danang; In Danang we went to visit Ba Na hills and Dragon Bridge. Ba Na Hills actually the Disneyland of Vietnam because there were so many things to see and do. There was the Golden Bridge of Vietnam, the longest cable car in the world, a french village, a beer plaza, a garden, Buffet, among many other attractions.
Hoi An
————
Hoi An is my favourite place in vietnam that i truly fell in love with; its an ancient town. it was truly like being taken back in time, and every single corner could make a beautiful photo. if you ever visit Vietnam, this is definitely a place not be missed.

With towering limestone pillars and tiny islets topped by forest rise from the emerald waters of Halong Bay, this is a perfect place for a one or two nights' cruise getaway you would like to consider when visiting Hanoi, Vietnam.
Short escape from the bustling city, as we set sail on board the Pelican cruise around Halong Bay, marvelling at its most amazing beauty from God's creation. God has been most kind to us during this whole trip and we were really thankful for such a spectacular experience!
Unexpectedly, we got a complimentary upgrade from Glory Legend Cruise to Pelican cruise;
Shout outs to the crews, who are forever so welcoming and meticulous in attending to our needs. We girls were very much well taken care of, like some VIPS on board and this couldn't have been any better;
In addition, kudos to the chefs for their effort in preparing every sumptuous meal of the day (breakfast/lunch/dinner);
Not forgetting the manager's warm hospitality, always ensuring that we have our hunger pangs well-satisfied!
Overall, this is such a memorable cruise experience, and we couldn't have asked for more! Shall leave the video to do the talking then.. Follow us on our journey as we set sail across Bai Tu Long Bay, and witness the most amazing encounters we had across islands.
Those highlights ARE NOT to be missed!
Sorry to keep you guys waiting, we spent quite a bit of time producing this video at its best, and hope you guys like it! As always, stay tuned for more great stuffs coming up:D

Experience with Alisa Premier Cruise at Halong Bay Vietnam
We went for 2D-1N Tour with Alisa Premier Cruise in August 2018. This video will take you through our check-in, boarding, on-board experience of the cruise. Hope this video will be helpful in your decision in selecting which cruise line to go with.
The cruise ship started to operate in 2017. Hence, its relatively new. To me, their service is excellent, cabin condition is great, we have nothing to complaint. Some of the crew member in the dining hall have limited English. But their other colleagues helped out to deal with the us.

The Best Halong Bay Cruise 2014 (do NOT book in Hanoi!!!!!!!!!!!)
- This is the second time in 2014 that I've done a Halong Bay cruise in Vietnam.
I booked through Alibaba's Hotel and Restaurant in Cat Ba.
For $25 I got:
A full day (8 hour) boat tour in and around Cat Ba Island/Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.
A semi-private tour (only 3 people in our group!) with 2 tour guides
A visit to a floating fishing village
A visit to Monkey Island (I saw two monkeys - score!)
An AMAZING authentic Vietnamese lunch cooked for us on the boat (fresh fish/seafood/shrimp, steamed rice w/spices and sauces, chicken and pineapple, clams, and homemade rice wine)
2 hours kayaking in CAVES - it's amazing, you kayak underneath the limestone cliffs and suddenly emerge in this lagoon. There are three secret lakes that connect to each other. They are unbelievably quiet, peaceful, and magical.
BEWARE: I've heard nothing but horror stories about booking a Halong Bay cruise through Hanoi - people get stuck on the boat for hours, and two of my friends got kicked OFF the boat b/c the company had overbooked. They had to find last minute accommodation for the night even though they'd already paid to stay overnight on the boat. Oh, and no refund was offered. No thank you!
