HAMAMA FALLS ( WAIHEE VALLEY ) HD Waydes World Hawaii
HIKE (Easy/Moderate) CHILD FRIENDLY REQUESTS to give out the exact location of the trailhead to this hike. I AM SORRY, I can not do so in RESPECT for da aina and da locals who have told me not to as well as this is an UNSAFE location during Flash Floods and heavy rain, also the land is owned by the Board of Water supply...Please respect that. If you wish to find this trailhead you must do so on your own. This secluded and easy trail to Hamama Falls in Kahaluu at the back of Waihee Valley is great for families. This easy to get to gem of a waterfall is in a restricted area on Private Property and that is why most folks have not been there and tourists have never heard of it. You must pass through a locked fence to your left where a large hole has been cut for hikers to get through. This property is owned by the Board of Water Supply and the truth is the Board just doesnt want you messing with the water supply, swimming in the LARGE POOL at the start of the trail or trashing the place so if this is your first time heading on this trail respect the land please. The Board seems to be cool with locals that use the path for walking or exercise. This is a 3 mile total hike. Its about 2 hour total hike time depending how long you stay at the falls and you may just want to stay for a while and have lunch. A bonus feature of the hike is a second waterfall called Waihe'e Falls. That Hike starts about 100 yards away from Hamama Falls on your left down a hill next to a large vine Banyan tree and across the stream. Its a rough trail through the forest to find it and many have got lost here because the trail is so faint because so few travel it. Any trail that is unmarked is not wise to take unless you are with those who know what they are doing and where they are going. Never go off a main trail if you are not sure. You can get lost within a short walk off a trail, trust me! I did and have MARKED Waihe'e Falls, but locals don't always take kindly to trails being marked and I have no issues with that...Waihe'e Falls trail is a PIG HUNTING TRAIL...be warned...DO NOT TAKE DOGS on this trail on Hunting days...Boars are present on trail and I have crossed paths with them several times.
Hamama Falls | Hiking in Hawaii
This fun and easy-moderate hike is in Kaneohe. It is located on private property, so go at your own risk. There is a beautiful natural swimming pool along the trail. It is about 3.3 miles out and back. The trail is pretty easy and flat until you get to the swimming hole. Shortly after that, it is a good incline all the way to the waterfall, but once you get there it will all be worth it! Parking is in a residential neighborhood, so please be courteous of the residents.

THE MANOA TRAILS, President OBAMA'S favorite park in HONOLULU (and WATERFALL) ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - The Manoa Falls and Trails has to be one of the most fascinating waterfalls and park on Oahu to be seen! Cascading 150 feet down the mountainside, it will seem more like 1000 feet as you stare up at the endless water falling down the rocks. Not many Oahu waterfalls are easy to travel to, that can also deliver such an impressive show! This is the park and the trails that President Obama likes to visit with his family every time he visits Oahu. The hike to Manoa Falls is both beautiful and adventurous! The Manoa Waterfall was used by Steven Spielberg while filming the 'Lost World'.
Honolulu, on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

OLD PALI ROAD HIKE and LIKEKE FALLS HD Waydes World Hawaii
HIIKE(Easy/Moderate) CHILD FRIENDLY We went up to the Pali lookout to park and embark on a beautiful Hike on the OLD PALI ROAD to a beautiful Waterfall called LIKEKE FALLS, it's the long way to these falls, but to me the only worthy one...If take the golf course path to the waterfall is easy and short...personally, I'm never a fan of reaching my destination in 15 mins...To me and many free spirits in the world it has always been more about the journey than the destination Going at a pace to allow picture taking and a bite to eat I would say this was a 2-3 hour hike to the Falls and an Hour back to the Pali Parking lot. For everyone it's different, but this gives you an idea so put 4 hours a side. Only as we shoot this Video had they started to charge $3.00 to park up at the Pali. Ok, its not a big deal but how do I personally feel about this? Why do you think I created this YOUTUBE page in the first place? The Pali wont be the first place they start charging vacationers, there will be other places I promise you that. The state of Hawaii continues to penalize tourists for coming to the Islands and I wont have it anymore. This is why tourists come to Hawaii in the first place, to go to places like the Pali Lookout! Once they pay for Plane, hotel and other expenses HAWAII goes ahead and charges you to see these historic places again!!!! WTF? Is this Hike worth $3.00? HELL, its worth $20.00 as far as Im concerned. GO ON THIS HIKE, its a sweet hike, well worth it! FOR YOUR INFORMATION: If you are just going to the Pali lookout. The attendant leaves at 5pm. No attendant no pay da $3.00 gut it? Locals with ID, like everywhere else is Free. This Hike has several areas where it gets a little confusing so I will go over the major 4 of them. 1. You need to cross under the NEW PALI HIGHWAY to continue the Hike. The only way to do that is to the look for Pink or orange MARKERS that will tell you to take a SHARP LEFT to go under the highway. This happens right when the Old Pali road ends and you may say to yourself, NOW WHAT? 2. Once Hiking down a staircase you continue down the Old Pali Highway. You will cross several Large TREES that have fallen recently. Because this is NOT a state run trail the trees won't be moving any time soon. Take notice in summer of the Ginger flowers Blooming and Guava fruit. You can smell both of them. Eat a few, they are yummy! Once continuing down the old road you will need to leave the road and head into the forest. I show this point in the video. 3. When you enter the forest and climb up the ridge side you will reach the top. You may get confused because you can go left, right and straight down the other side of the ridge. FIRST go to your RIGHT for about a 5 min hike for some AMAZING pictures of the Mountains and to grab a snack . Once done head back the way you came and go STRAIGHT DOWN the other side of the ridge and continue to follow the trail for some time. You will notice in time that under your feet is NO LONGER a trail BUT a COBBLE STONE road. Walk about 2-4 mins and you will see a TRAIL that leads off the STONE road. Follow this trail to the Falls. DONE!

WAIMANALO BEACH HD Waydes World Hawaii
CHILD FRIENDLY Well, we headed over to WAIMANALO BAY today which is right next to Bellows Beach, located on the east shore of Oahu. It's really one large stretch of beach consisting of the Waimanalo beach park, Waimanalo bay, the beach and then Bellows Beach and airforce base. Access to this exact part of the beach can take place at Aloiloi St next to McDonald's, follow it to the end before the right turn and park on the side of the road or you can go past McDonald's and take the small road down Waimanalo Bay which has a huge parking lot and short walk to the beach. A short drive after that is the Bellows beach access road onto the military base and to the beach. This stretch of beach on the east side is amazing. The water is always about 80 here and the waves always about 1-2 feet, good to start out with body surfing and body boarding...There is sometimes Jellyfish that come into both Waimanalo and Bellows beach a few days after a full moon so please ck out all signs on the beach and always respect the ocean! This is a fun filled, beautiful and very safe beach to hang out and relax at for the entire family....ALOHA!
Papali (Ma'akua Ridge) to Castle Trail (GoPro POV)
This hike took us 2 attempts to reach our goal, to touch Castle Trail from the summit! Papali Ridge starts in Hau'ula and climbs the ridge that makes up the southeast wall of Ma'akua Gulch. Papali is rarely used (Leslie left his hiking stick on the upper reaches of Papali on our 1st attempt and was still there 3 weeks later) so it's really rugged, muddy, overgrown, and some parts of the trail are hardly distinctable. We tied up some pink ribbons for future hikers who want to hike this trail. The trail has features of a leeward Ko'olau ridge, rollercoasting action, and lots of it!
Eventually Papali Ridge joins with the Castle Trail about 100ft from the Ko'olau crest, turning right takes you to the Ko'olau Summit Trail, turning left heads on over towards Kaluanui Stream which flows towards the start of that massive system of waterfalls that make up Sacred Falls! It's unreal to see a flowing river at 2,700ft up in the Ko'olaus!
After crossing Kaluanui Stream, Castle Trail begins it's set of it's famous switchbacks down the west wall of Punalu'u Valley and I can vounch why it's very famous, the views are golden! Even on a crappy weather day, the view is still as spectacular!
When we reached the trailhead at the valley bottom, we discovered why the trail is so difficult to access, it sits dead smack in the center on an irrigation plantation and it's private property and I've heard horror stories about hikers trespassing and getting interrogated by the locals living down there. Fortunately we did not get pursued by people, dogs, or a gun. In fact, we managed to get a ride back to Kam Hwy by some children driving Go Kart like vehicles! Much mahalo to you guys, to save us that final mile of road walking!
After realizing we were at Punalu'u, and didn't feel like walking 2 or so miles back to Hau'ula, we caught a bus back to our cars.
WARNING: I assume no responsibility should you attempt to hike Castle Trail! It is closed and off limits to the public. Hike at your own risk! The trail lies within private property! The best way is to hike with a hiking club such as Hawaiian Trail and Mountain Club or Sierra Club as they can secure permission from such entitiy or entities.

HIKING PU'U MA'ELI'ELI TRAIL - KANEOHE - OAHU - HAWAII

SHARK'S COVE and WILD PIGS!! Royal Hawaiian GC [HAWAII FAMILY VLOG] [MILITARY FAMILY]
APRIL 2017- This week we saw our share of fishes and Pigs. Hawaii always has something to offer. Snorkeling is one of our favorite pass times here on this island. Today we went to SHark's Cove located in the NORTH SHORE. The currents were strong and we got tousled a little bit but the sights were worth it. Unfortunately our camera died half way through our excursion. But please enjoy what we were able to capture!
