Got to try out a Roland C30 Digital harpsichord. Plays better than the older C80, but I think the C80 looks a lot cooler.
Tune is Scarlatti, K 491 (still not able to play this well)

Yamaha Instruments HQ - Museum Tour - Innovation road
We were lucky enough to travel to Hamamatsu - the home of Yamaha musical instruments in Japan, where they were celebrating 45 years of making synthesizers. They have a large exhibition hall called Innovation Road which tracks the beginnings of Yamaha from 1897 and their first reed organs, through their products (not all of which are instruments) upto the modern day.
Yamahasynth's Nate Tschetter took us through it.

Japan - Musical city
(5 Jul 1997) T/I: 10:30:32
Two hundred kilometers away from Japan's capital Tokyo is a city which can truly be described as a beacon to musicians around the world.
Hamamatsu's reputation for music-loving has grown up its musical instrument industry. And no instrument is more important to Hamamatsu than the piano. The city has been making pianos for 100 years and now its leading manufacturer Kawai which is world-renowned for its pianos produces around 170,000 a year.
Hamamatsu is proud of its musical heritage. Each year it stages music festivals and a piano competition for musicians from all over the world.
The city is also known for training piano-tuners with around a hundred people a year entering the profession.
Local craftsmen also make instruments rarely seen today. Akira Sato spends half a year making just one harpsichord.
People can listen to all sorts of instruments in Hamamatsu. At its museum dedicated to musical instruments, visitors can listen to how they would sound in performance.
It is not just professionals who are on the cutting edge of Hamamatsu's musical tradition. Every year local residents put on an opera production. It can be truly said of Hamamatsu that music fills the air.

Hamamatsu Castle Tower Gate | Museum ???????????? Wow Na Wow ang mga Artifacts na sa Movie Ko lang Nakkita
Hamamatsu Castle is conveniently located near the city center and easily reached by bus, taxi, even on foot. Originally named Hikuma Castle it was later extended, rebuilt and renamed when occupied by Ieyasu Tokugawa from 1542-1616 who intended it to be a launch-pad for world unification bearing the name - Success in life.
This castle was demolished by air raids of WW2. The restoration is at the original location and exhibits swords, armor, a pair of wooden saddles, maps, stamps, family crests made of cloth, photos and a miniature model of historic Hamamatsu. There is a water well downstairs and upstairs an observatory.
Surrounding the castle is a large and well cared for park convenient for visitors of all ages. Hamamatsu Castle Park is a comfortable and natural setting for baby strollers, energetic children, romantic couples and seasoned elderly. With over 400 cherry trees blooming in spring many people visit and picnic under the waving light pink blossoms. Each season has a particular appeal and this park is a wonderful place to experience them all.
