Kaohsiung, Taiwan - Cijin-Gushan Ferry Full Tour HD (2017)
The Cijin–Gushan ferry connects the Cijin and Gushan Districts of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is popular with tourists visiting the attractions of Cijin Island.
A ride on the ferry costs NT$15 per one-way ride. The journey takes about five minutes from Gushan to Cijin, an island which has seafood restaurants, traditional markets and a beach for tourists.

Exploring Taiwan's second largest city and largest port city on a bad weather but I managed to explore. Starting from the sleepy rainy morning from my apartment to Weiwuying to do something then I continued on to the Lotus Pond which the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas lies there with some TRA trainspottings along the way. In the late afternoon, I went to Takao Railway Museum in Hamasen which is part of the Pier-2 Art Center and using the ferry to Cijin Island from the nearby Gushan ferry pier. At night, I explored my own area Sanduo Shopping District, Kaohsiung's main shopping district to have dinner at the exact same place when I had lunch on my previous trip.

New Cijin Ferry connects three Kaohsiung tourist destinations
Visitors to Kaohsiung can now enjoy an environmentally friendly ferry that connects Warehouse Number Two and Cijin Island. The ferry also makes a stop at Hamasen, effectively tying three tourist destinations together. Transportation Minister Ho-chen Tan was at the southern port city today for the ferry''s inauguration.Asia’s first electric ferry, Qifu Number One, now plies the waters between Kaohsiung’s Pier Two and Cijin Island. Visitors can take the green machine to the popular century-old Warehouse Number Two.Hsu Li-mingKaohsiung Acting MayorPier Two has four million visitors annually, and Cijin has 4.2 million. Now we’re able to combine the two with the establishment of this new route that connects Warehouse Number Two and Cijin. Not only does the new route connect Pier Two and Cijin Island, it also makes a stop at Hamasen Railway Museum, where visitors can easily hop onto Kaohsiung’s light rail, MRT or a shared bike.Ho-chen TanTransportation MinisterWe now have the perfect integration of public transportation, tourism, and ocean scenery. It is a green mode of transportation and a new starting point for tourism in southern Taiwan.An added incentive for summer visitors is two free ferry tickets if you spend more than NT$1000 at Warehouse Number Two. Kaohsiung, Taiwan - Takao Railway Museum HD (2017)
The Takao Railway Museum (Chinese: 打狗鐵道故事館; pinyin: Dǎgǒu Tiědào Gùshìguǎn) is a museum in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The museum descends from the Kaohsiung Harbor Train Station, built during the Japanese period. The station was then the first railway station in Kaohsiung with the original name of Takow Station (Japanese: 打狗停車場). In 2003, the station building was classified as historical building by the Kaohsiung City Government. On 9 November 2008, the last train was pulled out from the station at 5.30 p.m.
Once the station was closed, the government took over the station building and land on the southern part of the station. On 24 October 2010, the government authorized the Railway Culture Society to enter the station for the opening of the Takao Railway Museum.
