Xinjiang dance is characterized by its lively and vivid movements, the pace of light and smart, the use of various parts of the body more detailed, especially the wrist and dancing changes are extremely rich. Xinjiang's dance style has a strong Western style.
Multiple in sum of Fifty-six ethnic groups populate the People's Republic of China, the Han Chinese are the largest ethnic group, where (as of 2010) some 91.51%[1] of the population was classified as Han Chinese (~1.2 billion). Besides the Han majority, 55 other ethnic groups are recognised in China by the PRC government, numbering approximately 105 million people, mostly concentrated in the northwest, north, northeast, south, and southwest but with some in central interior areas.
The major minority ethnic groups in China are Zhuang (16.9 million), Uyghur (11.5 million), Hui (10.5 million), Manchu (10.3 million), Miao (9.4 million), Yi (8.7 million), Tujia (8.3 million), Tibetan (6.2 million), Mongol (5.9 million), Dong (2.8 million), Buyei (2.8 million), Yao (2.7 million), Bai (1.9 million), Korean (1.8 million), Hani (1.6 million), Li (1.4 million), Kazakh (1.4 million), and Dai (1.2 million).

Traveling in Northwest China | Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang
I took a road trip to the northwest part of China in Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang province. Along the trip, we saw canyons, mountains, desert, salt lake, and lakes. We also went to the starting point of the Great Wall, the Mogao Cave, and experienced the Islamic culture in the Xinjiang Province.

Turpan City consists of Gaochang district, Shanshan county and Toksun County. It lies in the eastern section of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and south of the Tianshan Mountains. Turpan was a major crossroad for ancient Eurasia and an important city on the Silk Road. It is also the place where four ancient civilizations gathered and communicated with each other. Chinese Foreign Ministry: World Bank confirms Xinjiang program is effective
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has given a statement about a move by the World Bank concerning Xinjiang. The World Bank reduced its financial support for a vocational training program in the Chinese region. A ministry spokesperson says foreign media have misunderstood the move, and that it was done in the interest of improving management, not because of abuse allegations. #xinjiang #worldbank
