Hamilton Botanic Gardens - Victoria
The site for these gardens was set aside in 1853 and first planted in 1870, making them one of the earliest provincial botanic gardens in Australia. William Guilfoyle designed sweeping lawns, curved paths, lakes and islands, rockeries, cacti and succulents, colourful plants and contrasting foliage. Set in four acres, the gardens were classified by the National Trust of Victoria in 1990 and contain eight tree species listed on the Register of Significant Trees in Victoria.

Midsummer Night's Dream in the Hamilton Botanic Gardens
Enjoy this awesome highlight reel of one of our region's wonderful events; Shakespeare in the Gardens, ran by the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre in our historic Botanic Gardens.
In 2018 the first Shakespeare in the Gardens event brought A Midsummer Night's Dream enacted by the Australian Shakespeare Company to the enchanted viewers, and in 2019 we're looking forward to welcoming a stunning performance of Romeo and Juliet to our region. Fun Fact; the Hamilton Botanic Gardens are the fourth oldest Botanic Gardens in Victoria, and were designed by William Guilfoyle, who curated the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.

On Friday, October 11, we traveled to Hamilton for the third time this year to videograph Jacqueline & Shane’s wedding. We started at 10:30AM in the morning and our team arrived separately at Hamilton & Stoney Creek to film Jacqueline & Shane getting ready in the morning. The weather was perfect and the sunlight looked amazing reflecting on the country scenery. As per our suggestion, Jacqueline & Shane decided to exchange wedding gifts to each other in the morning. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens are located 7 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD in Toowong, Queensland, Australia, at the foot of Brisbane's tallest mountain, Mount Coot-tha. The gardens, which were originally called the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens and which cover 52 hectares, were established by the Brisbane City Council in 1970, and officially opened in 1976. The gardens are the second botanical gardens established in Brisbane. The Botanic Gardens features a Japanese Garden.
The Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mount Coot-tha are Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens, displaying distinctly different gardens arranged in thematic and geographical displays.
These gardens offer a variety of environments including the largest collection of Australian native rainforest trees in the world and natural wildlife.
