► Day 1 - #emeraldlake & #naturalbridge
Our 4th favorite day in Yoho! Emerald Lake is absolutely STUNNINGLY beautiful, and Natural Bridge is a wonderfully awesome rock formation around a waterfall!
► Day 2 - #sherbrookelake & #pagetpeak
Our 3rd favorite day in Yoho! Sherbrooke and Paget were equally awesome and very unique! You will get an incredible mountain view, and a peaceful turquoise lake with a mountain backdrop, it is a win for everyone!
► Day 3 - #takakkawfalls #laughingfalls #twinfalls #celestelake #icelinetrail
Our 2nd longest AND 2nd favorite day! We made a huge loop to see all of these sites in ONE day and it was the BEST choice! Leave early, and get ready for some UNBELIEVABLE waterfalls and views along the Iceline Trail
► Day 4 - #lakeohara #opabinplateau
We saved the best for last, unintentionally. We tried our butts off to get a bus pass for the ride to O'Hara, but ended up having to walk it! And it was SOOO worth it. Opabin Prospect was our absolute favorite view in all of Canada!
Hi, we are Julie & Zach, a couple who sold everything in 2018 and took off an adventure around the world! So far, this journey has taken us in a van ALL ACROSS the United States and Canada, from snorkeling with manatees in Florida to camping in the Grand Canyon to climbing glaciers in Canada, and everything in between! We were both working and going to school while living in Chicago in 2017 and 2018, and to be honest it really wore on us. We were exhausted, unfulfilled, and ready for an adventure. So, we made it happen! We saved up AS MUCH as we could over those 2 years - all homemade meals, no shopping, walk or bike everywhere, etc - and sold almost all of our belongings! With that money, we bought a renovated a van that we have been living in ever since! This is Winnie, the beautiful Volkswagen Eurovan who is the star of the show, unless of course you include our 8 year old chihuahua, Kobe, who has been tagging along like a champ on this entire adventure. He is an adventure dog in every way, except on some hikes he has to be carried in his doggy backpack... We started our YouTube channel a few weeks ago and have been loving creating videos! When we started, we were SO SO SO SO bad at it, and to be honest we still kinda suck, but we want to get better! What videos do you want to see? What do you want to know? Let us know and we will make it happen!
We believe that travel is truly a life-changing experience, it certainly changed ours! When you get out of your everyday world and experience new cultures, foods, places, people, sights, sounds, and take an adventure, you grow as a person and you become a better version of yourself! You are WAY stronger than you know, and stronger than you give yourself credit for. You have the ability to do anything, so make it happen! BE FOREVER FREE!

Incredible Winter Hike into Wapta Falls, Yoho National Park
Join us on a beautiful winter hike to a stunning frozen waterfall. Located 20 km east of Golden, British Columbia, Wapta Falls offers a breathtaking vista in winter. Located in Yoho National Park; parks pass required for access.
From the winter trailhead, set right alongside the Trans Canada Highway, it's roughly nine kilometres (return) to complete this hike. The terrain is easy; mostly flat with one descent/ascent.
Snowshoes are often needed, though just as often the trail is hard-packed and good winter boots or trail crampons will suffice.
You'll be able to get up-close to the falls—but be careful walking on around the open water. Dogs are permitted on-leash only. No washrooms or facilities during winter.

Paget Peak Hike - Yoho National Park, British Columbia
Team Ontario climbs along the British Columbia/Alberta border to the summit of Paget Peak. On the 10 km round trip, the team gains nearly 4,000-feet in elevation, while they try to find a path through the rocks. And, as usual, they spend a few moments lost in the woods.
The “Searching for Summits” series features five flat-landers from the GTA, taking on the biggest (well, maybe not quite the biggest) challenges in the Canadian Rockies, all in search of a view they wouldn't have back home.

Wapta Falls, Yoho National Park
Wapta Falls is located in the western part of Yoho National Park. It is here that the Kicking Horse River thunders down 30m over a span 150m wide. The amount of water flowing here makes Wapta Falls the 3rd largest waterfall (by volume) in Canada.

Twin Falls - Yoho National Park, Canada
The hike into Twin Falls was one of our favorite hikes of our whole trip. The scenery on the way to the falls is beautiful as the trail follows the turquoise river and passes impressive Laughing Falls. You can't hear the jet-engine roar of the waterfall in the video, but it really did sound like a jet plane.
