Hamilton Island Helicopter Scenic Flight
EP173: On Hamilton Island I take a helicopter ride with Hamilton Island Air to get a look at the island from above. In a Robinson R44 we fly a loop of the island seeing Hamilton Island Airport, Passage Peak, South East Head, Qualia Resort, and Hamilton Island Golf Club.
I was really impressed with Hamilton Island Air. They were really friendly and professional, so if you're on the island and have some spare time I'd recommend you give them a go:

Great Barrier Reef Tour on Hamilton Island Air Helicopter to Reefworld
Hamilton Island Air run helicopter tours of the Great Barrier Reef by helicopter. If you are staying at Qualia resort they will come and collect you from the heliport in the grounds. The four-hour excursion whisks you over the Whitsunday Islands to Reefworld where you can snorkel along the reef and then fly back over the famous heart shaped coral formation and the white sands of Whitehaven Beach before landing back at Qualia. Today we did a flight with Hamilton Island Air, out to Heart Reef, Reef World and landing at Whitehaven Beach for a 1 hour picnic.
The flight in the Robinson 44 was absolutely spectacular, as was all the staff at Hamilton Island Air.
We flew over the Whitsunday Islands, out to Heart Reef, Great Barrier Reef, Whitehaven Beach and back to Hamilton Island passing Qualia, One tree Hill and the Marina.
All the music in this video is that from an artist name Jay Hoad. Jay was one the Island entertaining for the week we were there and we were lucky enough to chat with him and buy his cd's.

The 3rd installment is finally here!! The Great Barrier Reef cruise was definitely the highlight of our time spent at Hamilton and we wouldn't trade this experience for anything else! Both May and I can not swim AT ALL, but we were still convinced into taking a 30-minute diving adventure because Mike promised us that he would be by our side to keep us safe. It was such an amazing experience in itself, the only let down was the devastating truth of coral bleaching hence we didn't see too many colourful corals or fishes.
Other than that, this adventure is a definite MUST for anyone and everyone.
