Hampton Ferry Car & Bike Show, Evesham
Sunday 26th June 2016. An inexpensive summer event alongside the River Avon to just turn-up and show-off your classic vehicle, or just come along to admire other people's pride and joy. A very large turnout of cars, motorbikes, camper vans, and military vehicles was accommodated comfortably in 2 fields with a further large field available for public car parking.

Evesham Town... Moving images from the early 1980's
VHS video footage supplied to me over 30 years ago by Arthur Tolley. Mainly featuring his riverside properties, the Marine Ballroom and his boat sheds to the north of Workman bridge. Also a leisurely trip along the River Avon on his pleasure boat 'Gaiety' passing under the old Abbey bridge and beyond Hampton ferry. Returning past scores of boaters & swimmers and Abbey Park teaming with visitors. We are shown all around the Marine Ballroom. Staff, function rooms, bars, kitchens, toilets, bedrooms, offices, and shopping mall. The car park was frequently occupied by a fleet of coaches which brought in day-trippers, this was later all flattened to make way for riverside apartments.
