Off the beaten path In this video I have visited an amusement park in Ishikawa Japan named Hanibe caves or Hanibe Gankutsuin, a macabre mixture of temple, art and hell themed statues. They charge 800 yen to get in.

Komatsu has way more than I expected. We just scratched the surface of all the things you can see and do.
We started our day at Kibagata park, from there we enjoyed the beautiful Natadera. We finished our day with the really cool, but scary Hanibe Gankutsuin!
A must see.
Temple of the Unborn - Hanibe Cave with Kanako ハニベ洞窟
Kanako and I take a trip to Hanibe Cave in Komatsu City, Ishikawa. The cave is combined with a temple to honor and pray for children who passed away before their time. It is a unique experience unlike anything you can typically find in Japan. It is definitely worth your time.
We visit the statues, read some diaries, and enter the gate of hell.

I show you Hanibe Gankutsuin. This area was a well-known production area of stone. Hanibe Gankutsuin was made of the cave at the quarry site. There are a lot of buddha statues in the cave.Is it hell? Or Is it paradise? This was made by Yume Tsugata in 1951. He was warried about the war after the WWⅡ and he hoped human prosperity. He had been making buddha statues. Hanibe is from Hanibeshi which means a person who makes statues from the sand in the past.Highlight is a Hell tour! Why don’t you go to the extraordinary world!

Kanazawa Castle (金沢城 Kanazawa-jō) is a large, partially-restored castle in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is located adjacent to the celebrated Kenroku-en Garden, which once formed the castle's private outer garden. It was the headquarters of Kaga Domain, ruled by the Maeda clan for 14 generations from the Sengoku period until the coming of the Meiji Restoration in 1871 (Wikipedia) Maeda Clan was the 2nd most powerful clan after Tokugawa Clan
