- The Burghers of Vancouver
From February 11 to May 16, 2015
Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris
Curator : Catherine Bédard
A stone’s throw from the Musée Rodin, the Canadian Cultural Centre will be presenting an exhibition entirely devoted to one of the most famous French sculptors, and his monument The Burghers of Calais (1885) in particular.
Called The Burghers of Vancouver, the exhibition has been put together by Adad Hannah, a Vancouver photographer and video artist, and Quebec filmmaker Denys Arcand. At its heart is a new video installation that revisits the idea of the urban monument by taking apart and putting back together the sculpted group using actors. The play recounts the story of the six actors commissioned by a mysterious patron to “act” Rodin’s work in the streets of Vancouver.
The exhibition also features other works by Adad Hannah that are profoundly influenced by Rodin’s sculpture.
In partnership with the Musée Rodin, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Toronto International Film Festival

CANADIAN PR PATHWAY STRATEGY NOT EVERYBODY TALKS ABOUT (CANADA TOURIST VISA | WORK PERMIT | PR)
Convert Tourist Visa to Canadian PR. This video will guide you in detail how to apply for a Canadian Tourist Visa, how to get a job offer while on Tourist Visa, get a work permit legally and become a Canadian PR. Understanding of the entire process is the key.
The biggest advantage you have while in Canada is to have a higher chance of landing a Job Interview as majority of employers prefer those who are physically present in Canada. Specially if you are applying for AIPP or RNIP, a face to face interview is the best way to get a Job. Getting a Job Interview is not easy honestly but networking with the hiring managers and company employees before arriving in Canada really makes a huge difference! Visit Visa is only $100 :)
If you get a Job Offer from the AIPP or RNIP, LMIA is not required and you are not actually applying for a Work Permit but rather for PR.
If you have any questions about the process, anything that I missed to cover that you want to know, filling out the form, feel free to ask as I have undergone this process just weeks ago :)
Note that an additional $85 is added on top of the $100 application fee if CIC requires you to go through Biometrics.

Tyrell Museum @ Drumheller Alberta.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is a Canadian tourist attraction and a centre of palaeontological research known for its collection of more than 130,000 fossils.
Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park and was established in 1885. Located in the Rocky Mountains, 110–180 kilometres (68–112 mi) west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometres (2,564 sq mi)[2] of mountainous terrain, with numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. The Icefields Parkway extends from Lake Louise, connecting to Jasper National Park in the north. Provincial forests and Yoho National Park are neighbours to the west, while Kootenay National Park is located to the south and Kananaskis Country to the southeast. The main commercial centre of the park is the town of Banff, in the Bow River valley.
Waterton Lakes National Park is a national park located in the southwest corner of Alberta, Canada. It borders Glacier National Park in Montana, United States. Waterton was the fourth Canadian national park, formed in 1895 and named after Waterton Lake, in turn after the Victorian naturalist and conservationist Charles Waterton. Its range is between the Rocky Mountains and prairies. This park contains 505 km2 (195 sq mi) of rugged mountains and wilderness.
