Floating Stones of Ram Setu (Adam's Bridge) -- Rameswaram, Tamilnadu, India
According to Hindu mythology 'Ramayana', lord Rama build this bridge with the help of monkeys(ape men?) to reach Srilanka and rescue his wife from Ravana, a demon king. The epic was written some10000 years ago, and the hero Ram is worshipped as god in India, for so many good things he did. Atheist questions it's authenticity, while 'believers' shows this bridge as the proof of their belief. These stones actually float on water, in the temple town of Rameswaram, the southern coast of India,

Ram Setu - The bridge was first mentioned in the ancient Indian Sanskrit epic Ramayana of Valmiki. The name Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu (Sanskrit; setu: bridge) refers to the bridge built by the Vanara (ape men) army of Rama in Hindu theology with instructions from Nala,[5] which he used to reach Lanka and rescue his wife Sita from the Rakshasa king, Ravana.[4] The Ramayana attributes the building of this bridge to Rama in verse 2-22-76, naming it as Setubandhanam, a name that persists until today.[6]
The sea separating India and Sri Lanka is called Sethusamudram meaning Sea of the Bridge. Maps prepared by a Dutch cartographer in 1747, available at the Thanjavur Saraswathi Mahal Library show this area as Ramancoil, a colloquial form of the Tamil Raman Kovil (or Rama's Temple).[7] Another map of Mughal India prepared by J. Rennel in 1788 retrieved from the same library called this area as the area of the Rama Temple, referring to the temple dedicated to Rama at Rameswaram.[8] Many other maps in Schwartzberg's historical atlas[9][10] and other sources such as travel texts by Marco Polo call this area by various names such as Sethubandha and Sethubandha Rameswaram.
Dhanushkodi - According to the Hindu mythology Ramayana, Lord Rama built a bridge to connect India and Sri Lanka, in order to carry his troops. Rama marked the spot for the bridge with one end of his bow which later became Dhanushkodi meaning end of the bow.

The presiding deity, the Lingam of Ramanathaswamy (Shiva), is believed to have been established and worshiped by Rama, an avatar of the god Vishnu, to absolve the sins created during the Ramayana war at Sri Lanka.
The primary deity of the temple is Ramanathaswamy (Shiva) in the form of lingam.[1] There are two lingams inside the sanctum - one built by Sita, from sand, residing as the main deity, Ramalingam and the one brought by Hanuman from Kailash called Vishwalingam.[4][5] Rama instructed that the Vishwalingam should be worshipped first since it was brought by Hanuman - the tradition continues even today.

Panchamukha Hanuman Temple,Near Mantralayam
Our Goal is to trace all Temples in India those stood neglected and bring them to the notice of the devotees seeking their support by all means to revive them so as to preserve the cultural heritage of the country.
At the outset, we have begun with the temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states which are ancient with unparallel historical background but remained hidden in spite of having rare kind of structural engineering that kept them distinguished from others.
We are trying our best to unveil the history, secrets and facts regarding those temples. We are quite ambitious to cover all the temples in India and be proud to be part of their development by bringing them back to limelight by facing the challenges of change facilitated by time.
It is an earnest appeal from our side to make us successful in this mission by following regularly this website and giving us suggestions.
