Aqua Planet is an aquarium+zoo in Goyang, South Korea. It is located in the Ilsan area.The aquarium is home to 325 marine and terrestrial creatures from all around the world. It is the largest Aquarium in the Seoul area.

Hanwha Aqua Planet Ilsan, located in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do (Gyeonggi Province). It is the largest in the greater Seoul metropolitan area. The four-story building covers 14,600 square meters and houses 4,300 tons of water in its tanks where some 25,000 sea creatures live together.
Aqua Planet Ilsan was constructed in April 2014, becoming Hanwha's fourth aquarium in the country, following 63 Sea World, the nation's first aquarium established in 1985, Aqua Planet Jeju and Aqua Planet Yeosu, both constructed in 2012. For the first time, the Ilsan branch created space for land mammals too. It dedicates about 60% of the space to The Aqua and the 40% percent to The Jungle.
The highlight of the aquarium is the Deep Blue Ocean, a gigantic water tank about 12 meters long and six meters deep, it takes about a week to fill the tank with water. Around 10,000 marine organisms spanning 30 species live in the tank, including blacktip reef sharks, zebra sharks and Japanese eagle rays. There are also daily underwater performances take place in the Deep Blue Ocean tank five times a day.

Juyeop Station, Line 3, exit 2. Walk for 15 minutes pass the One Mount Mall, cross the pedestrian overpass, next to the Singing Fountain.
Situated inside the Hallyu World and KINTEX Land in Seo-gu, Ilsan, Onemount is the largest multi-cultural space in the northwest metropolitan region. It is housed in three buildings with two underground floors and nine aboveground floors, for a total surface area of 161,600 square meters. Aiming to be the best playground in the world, Onemount features a water park, snow park, shopping mall and members-only luxury sports club.
The Waterpark section includes indoor and outdoor slides, surf wave pool, flowing pool and aqua play. There is also a roof garden with stunning views of the lake. The Snow Park is really one of kind. It features a Santa Village with a North European concept, unique sledding like animal sleds, an ice lake with 101 fun activities like ice bowling, ice road with seven themed caves and thrilling, fantastic rides, and a snow hill where visitors can enjoy snow sledding under the snow that falls year round. This is the world’s first theme park where visitors can watch aurora and ice shows at the Fairy Tale Village which is made of ice. As for the shopping mall, there are many flagship stores, spa brand and cosmetics. There is also a variety of food options from restaurants, café or a quick snack. Last but not least there is a members-only sports club with state-of-the-art facilities, swimming, spa, golf and lounges.
This is a place you can visit all year around to experience warm weather fun or cold weather play.

Aqua planet Ilsan by Reynolds Polymer Technology
Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc. manufactured the largest of the water retaining panels for the newest Hanwha aqua planet addition located in South Korea. The opening of the park marks the third Hanwha aqua planet project that Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc. has been a part of in South Korea. The Deep Blue Ocean Encounter, perhaps the most prominent tank in the aqua planet facility, features a variety of popular deep sea creatures from fish to stingrays. This custom cast acrylic aquarium window is a remarkable 35 feet long by almost 20 feet tall and is 18 inches thick. RPT also manufactured R-Cast® acrylic for two unique jellyfish tanks and the large Shark Tank aquarium window.
