The Inn at Harbor Shores
Edgewater Resources, the designer and developer of the project, aimed to create a marina that would be beautiful, but also strong enough to withstand the harsh weather of the Great Lakes coast.
Kebony boardwalk was used for the decking of 68 seasonal docks at the Marina at Harbor Shores of St. Joseph, Michigan, USA. The docks range from 35-40 feet in length and the broadside docking will hold transient vessels up to 200 feet in length.

It was the worst winter storm in decades. January 2014. More than a foot of snow in just a few hours. A week after, the financially-strapped city of Benton Harbor was still struggling to clear its roads.
Benton Harbor Protest
Protesters marching from the Benton Harbor City Hall to the bridge between Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan, where they waited to greet Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, grand marshal of the annual Blossomtime Festival. Snyder's new law, Act 4, allows for the Governor to appoint an Emergency Financial Manager, effectively nullifying the power of the city's elected officials. Several hundred protesters greeted him with signs, turned backs, and chants, and followed him all along the parade route.
