Pilot Whale Stranding on Hardings Beach in Cape Cod, Massachusetts
A pilot whale stranded Monday afternoon on Hardings Beach in Chatham, Cape Cod. The Cape Cod Stranding Network and the International Fund for Animal Welfare were called in to provide basic medical support until a bulldozer and flatbed truck could arrive. Moist blankets kept the marine mammal wet on the frigid winter beach until 5:30pm when the trucks arrived to begin the process of transportation to a facility where more substantial medical care could be provided.

Pan up a dusty side street, grass growing up the middle, white picket fences surrounding gardens, the picket goes over the garden gate reading Shaunessy I think., mature trees and bird in the bird bath. White clapboarded house, surrounded by picket fence, the same probably, a Stars and Stripes flag flying. Car, black and shiny, at he end of the street. Another dusty side street. A shady garden surrounded by picket fence. Two women in white swimsuits, one in sunglasses, sit on garden furniture and look to the camera. Another lovely side street view, car comes around the corner and enters a property. A street sign reads Sunset Lane and Ocean View.
