Algonquin Provincial Park: Hardwood Lookout Trail in Spring (May 2016)
The Hardwood Lookout Trail showcases a typical hardwood forest, primarily made up of maple and beech trees. The maple and beech leaves resulted in a very bright green appearance along the trail, during my late spring visit. Near the end of the hike, there was a rewarding view of Smoke Lake to the south, just across Highway 60.
This video was shot in late May, 2016.
Lookout Trail - Algonquin Provincial Park
The ascent up to the cliff of the Lookout Trail in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada. The cliff over looks the Maples, Pines and Birches. I have been in the Spring and Winter, but wanted to see this sight in the Fall, however I was a week too early. The start of the colours are there, but it would be an awesome sight now (End Sept/ Start Oct 2009)

Algonquin Provincial Park October 8 2009 Hardwood Lookout Trail
The Sun is out for almost a day and this is walk two 2009 of Hardwood Lookout Trail. Big winds the day before blowing out a lot of leaves up top. Did same walk but reverse with sun to left. Finished the trail and went on to Ragged Falls to walk up to the top.....upload next day or two. This is unedited and with sunshine.
View from the Lookout Trail - Algonquin Provincial Park
The view from the Lookout once I put my Handycam on a tripod, although given the rocky outcropping I was on, it wasn't all that level....
Track and Tower Trail, Algonquin Park
Track and Tower Trail, Algonquin Park
The Track and Tower Trail at km 25.0 on Highway 60 in Algonquin Provincial Park, is one of our favourite hiking trails in the park. It passes through a variety of interesting landscapes, including beaver ponds, lakes, and old burn zone, Eastern Hemlock and Cedar groves, a historic train railway bed with evidence of trestles visible and a nice lookout where an old fire tower used to stand.

Minnesing | Algonquin Park
On our way home from our visit to Northeastern Ontario we stopped in Algonquin Park to wander through the Minnesing Trails. The start of the trail had us in some really cool rock work and wood bridges. Then the middle was mostly us climbing up and up. This turned out to be our longest descent so far, and was quite the reward. The park has so much to offer in the way of nature to behold, we were in awe throughout our adventure.
This is Sabrina's last ride on the Liv Tempt 3 2017. In next weeks video she will be riding her new Liv Pique 2 SX 2019.

Two Rivers Trail: Algonquin Park Fall Colours 2018 Family Hiking
We enjoyed hiking the Two Rivers Trail. It's a fairly easy 2.3 km loop that includes a short ascent to a pine-clad cliff with fall views. Elowyn is 22 months and loved singing and hiking on this trip to Algonquin.

Fall Colors in Algonquin Park and Lookout Point
Viewing fall colors at Algonquin's Lookout Point is one of the most picturesque locations in Algonquin Park. Its 1863 ft above sea level, and its most scenic fall colors time is during the fall when the leaves of many trees, including the red and yellow maple trees, begin to change colors in preparation for the winter. This scenic drives begins in Muskoka and continues on along Highway 60 into Algonquin park, and then finishes off at Lookout Point.
