Hardy Falls Located just south of Peachland
The Hardy Falls hike is a great short family hike along groomed trails and numerous bridges. Peachland is a short drive south of Kelowna along Highway 97. Be sure to stop in at Peachland and enjoy their waterfront if you are making the trip out from Kelowna. Great shops and places to eat.

Hardy Falls by Peachland - Beautiful
Saturday morning, July 18 Cindy and I were on a swing through the southern interior. Starting in Westbank filming artists (video to come) then Hardy Falls and Penticton before going to Osoyoos.
There was no hint of any extraordinary event to take place that Saturday.
Our YOLO message is about that in a way, live a good life to the fullest, You Only Live Once and what the next minute let alone the next day brings can not be told.

Hardy Falls is on Deep Creek at the south end of Peachland just past the Peachland Lakeshore Inn and beside Antler Beach Trailer Park. There is ample parking and public washrooms. The walk to the falls will take from 5 - 10 minutes, or if you enjoy it half as much as most people, it could take 30 minutes. The short walk along an excellent walkway will cross Deep Creek several times as you make your way to the Falls. How many bridges are there? This walk is advisable for everyone, young and old, and is wheelchair accessible.
The jaunt will take you through a steep-banked canyon to the falls. There are salmon berry bushes along the trail and in Sept/Oct the annual salmon run fills the creek with fish.
There are benches to stop, take a break, enjoy the scenery and chat with others along the way.

Visiting Hardy Falls in Peachland BC Canada
Hardy Falls Regional Park is a hiking and sightseeing destination located on the south end of Peachland, BC, Canada in the Okanagan Valley. The waterfall park includes a salmon spawning river named Deep Creek and a well maintained hiking trail leading to the falls.
The well maintained walkway is approximately 1 kilometre long. The pathway is made of gravel and boardwalk and crosses over the creek many times on the way to the falls. The walking path to the falls is wheelchair accessible.
There are a few wooden boardwalk foot bridges crossing Deep Creek on the trail. It should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete the hike from the parking lot to the falls.
Hardy Falls Regional Park includes washrooms plus a large parking lot at the end of Hardy Road. Along the path is a few sitting benches acting as viewing and resting spots. In the park is some picnic tables also, so pack a lunch. (info... copy and paste from Canada Travel, Tourism, Adventures Province of British Columbia)

Hardy Falls - Peachland BC (near Kelowna)
Hardy Falls is just over 6 hectares. A peaceful, cool place to visit on a hot Okanagan summer day.
Features:
A trail system follows Deep Creek into Hardy Falls
A picnic area and washroom facilities are available for public use
Kokanee Salmon spawning in September
Naturalists activities including birding, wildlife viewing and botany
Things To Do:
The park boasts a brilliant show of red kokanee salmon returning to their spawning grounds each year in early September to lay their eggs. Hardy Falls Regional Park is a particularly good place to watch the fish as they seem to be slightly larger in size and seem to arrive a little earlier than those in other nearby creeks. An easy 15-minute walk through the riparian area takes you to Hardy Falls.
Regional Parks Interpretive Programs are available by donation for school and community groups who'd like to learn about our local environment and cultural history. For information on these program opportunities or to book a presentation, please contact the EECO Centre at 469-6140.
In the fall an interpreter is available for Kokanee Fish programs seven days a week. Each year the Regional Parks Department and the provincial government partner up to provide fish interpretation programs for local schools. Last year over 1400 students got an up close look at the anatomy and life cycle of the Kokanee in Deep Creek.
General Information:
Dogs, overnight camping and open fires are not permitted in this park.
Help protect park vegetation by using only designated trails. Leave only footprints and take only pictures.
History:
The falls and the road are named after Harry Hardy who was one of the first orchardists on the Westside.

Hike behind Christie Falls - Kelowna
Music by: Attom
Track: Flash
Located approximately 35km from downtown Kelowna, towards Terrace Mountain and Fintry Provincial Park on the Westside of Okanagan Lake, are perhaps the most incredible waterfalls in the Okanagan Valley; Christie Falls. A short 2km hike through a replenished burnt forest leads you to this amazing cliffside waterfall and cave which you can walk behind, take a dip in the pools, or rock climb if you brought the proper equipment. The waterfalls are best during the spring runoff in May with wildflowers, specifically fireweed, occurring in July. By the time August and September roll around, the falls are pretty much dry and the waterfall is reduced to a mere mist by the time it reaches the ground.
