Hariphunchai National Museum was established in 1927 by Phraya Rattnukul Wiboonpakdi governor of the Monthon Payap (Northern Region Administration). It is the first museum in Northern. The present location was Wat Saen Khao Ho or Wat Sa Due Muang since Hariphunchai kingdom. Later, the Fine Arts Department built a new exhibition hall. The museum exhibits the fine collection of objects of art of the Hariphunchai period which dates back to pre 17th - 19th Buddhist centuries as well as that of the Lanna period circa 19th - 25th Buddhist centuries. วัดเชียงมั่น Wat Chiang Man - Chiang Mai
วัดเชียงมั่น
Wat Chiang Man
Wat Chiang Man also written as Wat Chiang Mun is a Buddhist temple within the confines of the old moated city of Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand.
Wat Chiang Man was built in 1297 and is considered to be the oldest wat in Chiang Mai, established by the city's founder, King Mengrai.
Within the confines of the temple is the Chedi Chang Lom, the 'Elephant Chedi', the oldest structure within the temple complex. The square base supports a second level which has the front half of 15 life-sized brick-and-stucco elephants emerging from it. The elephants seem to carry the upper levels of the building on their backs. The gilded upper part of the chedi contains a bell shaped relic chamber directly underneath the pinnacle.

Wat Koh Klang Tambol Banruan
My work...2010 , New (will do in the years soon)
Wat Koh Klang is located in Ban Bo Kaw, Tambol Ban Reuan, Pasang district
The most recent archaeological dig in 2548 BE (2005 CE) revealed an outstanding site which many art historians consider unique in the North. What was discovered was the principal chedi of the temple, made of brick in a pyramid shape topped with a bell-shaped stupa. The chedi features niches on all four sides which protrude much further than those on other chedis, hence it's name the Belly Chedi. It is similar in style to Dvaravati chedis of the same period. Of particular note are the exceptionally beautiful stucco decorations of mythical creatures and intertwined botanical patterns (sometimes known as Lanna creepers) around the frames of the various niches
The main chedi dates back to at latest the end of the Haripunchai period, as can be ascertained from the inner foundation which predates the start of the Lanna ere. It is likely that the current Lanna-style chedi was built over the original in a subsequent restoration.
Wat Koh Klang is located in Ban Bo Kaw, Tambol Ban Reuan, Pasang district, about 20 km. from the city. It is an ancient temple with one of the most significant collocations of ancient remains in Lamphun, and can be found about 500 meters west of the Ping river. The local community comprises around 500 families of Mon origin who still speak Mon in their daily lives.
The ancient remains at Wat Koh Klang include the ruins of the ordination hall, traces of the wall, the well, the western entrace gate, the eastern pavilion and a well-preserved religious building outside the temple wall. Before reaching the temple there is a large almost circular octagonal chedi by the road which the locals call Chedi Mai Tha (Pier Marker Chedi), as it is a visible symbol for those traveling by rive that they are almost at Wat Koh Klang.
There is another mound outside the temple walls to the northwest in the vicinity of Ban Kaw which the villagers call Noen Mae Mai. Legend holds that this area was home to a rich man called Intha, and also the place where Queen Chamathewi gave birth. The mound is covered whith scattered brick remains, and many interesting ancient artifacts have been found here including a stucco naga sculpture and a very refined Dvaravati dragon sculpture. Today the mound and all the other ancient monuments in the Wat Koh Klang area are under active archeological exploration.
Beyond the valuable sites already mentioned, Lamphun has many more ancient monuments and artifacts, such as Wat Phre Phutta Baat Tak Pha in Pasang district which contains a great deal of Haripunchai history, and Gu Chang Gu Ma in the city whic both have interesting legends associated with them. But if time is short, the Haripunchai National Museum on Inthayongyot road opposite Wat Phra That Haripunchai has an extensive collection of important artifacts conveniently gathered together. Although it is a museum in a small town, it is a small town with a tremendous wealth of history, and the museum has a great deal to excite those with a passion for history and archeology.
The Haripuchai National Museum is the national museum with the largest collection of stone tablets under its care in the country. Interested parties should be sure not to miss it.
Ancient artifacts on display in the museum include not only finely sculpted Buddha heads dating back to the Haripunchai and Lanna eras and rare Haripunchai Buddhist talismans, but also 23 stone tablets dating from the 19th - 20 th centuries BE(13th-15th centuries CE) through to the Lanna period. These, together with hundreds more pieces of ancient and exquisite art, bring 1,300 years of glorious history to life before the visior.
