Harireh ancient city (Kish Island)
Harireh is an ancient 8th century city located in what is now Kish, Iran. It is situated in the center of the northern coast of the island. Its area is about 3 square kilometers.
Some say Harireh was first built sometime between the late Sasanid period and the early Islamic era. Harireh was quite popular during the Saljuks and Atavakan of Fars. An Iranian cultural heritage organization has verified that Harireh is at least 800 years old.

Kish Island is on the northern edge of the Persian Gulf, 18 km south of mainland Iran. Its beautiful coral beaches were chosen by The New York Times as one of the World's Most Beautiful Beaches in 2010, and its year-round warm weather provides the perfect backdrop for the outdoor Abadis Water Park.

Harireh Ancient City
The ancient city of Harireh with an area of about three square kilometers is situated on the northern coast of Kish Island, south of Iran beside the #Persian_Gulf. Its history dates back to the ninth century with some constructions remaining but in ruins referring to bath, mosque, mansion, glass-making workshop, and Kariz/Qanat (underground water channels). The golden age of the city belongs to the early 16th century.
