This series of six videos is a detailed and authoritative photographic flipbook guide to all 113 miles of the South Downs Way travelling from west to east.
The South Downs Way is a long distance footpath and official National Trail that traces the length of the South Downs National Park. In doing so it predominantly follows the scarp slope of the range of chalk hills stretching from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in East Sussex.

Harting Hill - First rough cut of our new track 'Better run' (heavy metal)
Hello YouTube guys and gals!
Here's the first recording of our new track 'Better run' that we played from our last rehearsal at the Little Buildings Rehearsal Rooms in Byker. It is a heavy metal track that offers some seven string riffing, growling vocals and hard hitting drum beats.
This is a really rough cut with only some of the vocals/guitar riffs and lacking the bass. We hope to present a more tidy version in the future!
If you love heavy chugging guitars and some rhythmic drum playing, you'll love this!
Look out for more videos soon...
Thanks.
As always, please like, comment and subscribe for more videos like this one.

A little bit about me: I am a guitarist/songwriter/gamer based in the North East of England. I am a big fan of rock and metal but take inspiration from a wide variety of sources when it comes to writing riffs and lyrics. I also occasionally turn up at busking and other events around Newcastle upon Tyne with my Fender acoustic guitar. Say hello if you spot me.
The band Harting Hill is comprised of Daryl Rose (drums), Kristofer Bendelow (bass) and myself on guitar/vocals. We play a variety of classic, heavy rock and metal covers but we're working on material to call our own for an EP and gig in 2018. More information will be shared as soon as we are able.
We use the Little Buildings Rehearsal Rooms to practice and they come highly recommended:

Harting Down - Hiking imposing hill-top views and hidden valleys in South Downs National Park
The Harting Down is deep in the South Downs National Park, a wonderful area for hiking, mountain biking, trail running or a simple, family day out and a picnic. I decided to hike about a 5 mile loop around this area of outstanding beauty.
SUBSCRIBE! ►
The National Trust has done a superb job of maintaining most of the area, and the areas along the bridle ways may be private, but nevertheless, fantastically maintained. This Harting Down hike is impressive from the very start and I would certainly do it again, only this time, possibly as part of the South Downs Way!
