Hatfield House
Hatfield House is a country house set in a large park, the Great Park, on the eastern side of the town of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. The present Jacobean house, a leading example of the prodigy house, was built in 1611 by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to King James I, and has been the home of the Cecil family ever since. It is a prime example of Jacobean architecture.

Join me for a deeply relaxing virtual tour around this magnificent house, which has fascinating links to Queen Elizabeth I and contains many rare and historic treasures. Hatfield House
A mini tour of Hatfield House. A historical and beautiful Jacobean mansion. It was used in films such as 'Wayne Manor' in the 1980's Batman, Tomb Raider, and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Most mansions/castles/palaces I visited this summer do not allow filming, so this house will give you a general idea of what these fancy places look like and the intricacies and histories that are contained in them. Enjoy!
EXPLORING inside historic St Etheldreda ⛪, Old Hatfield (HATFIELD HOUSE), ENGLAND
SUBSCRIBE: - Historic St Etheldreda, Old Hatfield (Hatfield House), England. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Their link with St Etheldreda, a Saxon Princess, is through the Bishops of Ely, who owned the manor of Hatfield from about 930 until 1538. The present church dates from the 13th century, although little remains of the mediaeval building. During the 15th century the Tower was constructed by Cardinal Morton and later the Brocket Chapel was added. The Salisbury Chapel was built during the 17th century; shortly after the completion of Hatfield House, which stands nearby.
