Rescue from the dangerous trees attakking Shinano Akiyama
Thank you for your interest in supporting old house of “Shinano-Akiyama‟ at Open-Air Museum of Japanese Farm Houses. The Museum is located in Hattori Ryokuchi park (Osaka /Toyonaka) and exhibited 12 old farm houses with the folk tools.
There are many big trees in the museum and some of them are getting too big to cut ourselves. Last summer, there was a big typhoon hit Hattori Ryokuchi park and collapsed more than 10 big trees. The museum has similar trees and kept them somehow but if next typhoon comes and hit one of the tree right next to the old house of “Shinano Akiyama” the old house will collapse.
We must cut those trees next to the old house of “Shinano Akiyama” as soon as possible since “Shinano Akiyama” is the last heritage(Important cultural property) and which has old and rare architectural style. The house was built in Akiyama district（Nagano prefecture) in Japan. We would like to preferentially choose trees that are dangerous and urgent, and call on everyone.
There are so many big trees we must cut but we have no budget to do. We preferentially choose the most dangerous and emergency tree to start.
A minimum of 300,000 yen is required to cut the three trees. Therefore, we launched the project of Rescue from the dangerous trees attacking “SHINANO AKIYAMA” through the internet to call for people who are interested in protecting the cultural property of Japan all over the world. We are hoping to your support and hopefully we are able to cut the trees by the typhoon season coming this summer.
