鹿児島県霧島市隼人町にある。
隼人塚です。
隼人塚は、大和朝廷に討伐された。くまそや隼人の亡くなった人々の
慰霊碑と言われています。
今の塚は、昭和に入って復元されたもので
明治の初めに廃仏毀釈で壊されたようです。
また、与謝野晶子の石碑もあります。

熊襲の穴に、初めて行ってきました。
最初は、洞窟の中に入るのも怖かったんですけれど！

大乗院では、廃仏毀釈で廃寺になり、色々調べて再興された高野山に足を運びます。
廃仏毀釈は、想像以上に激しいものでした。
