Hiking to Mowich Campground located in the stunningly beautiful Manning Park in BC. Take Skyline I trail to Junction approx 6 km to the junction then take Skyline II all the way to Mowich . Several places to set up camp and water sources nearby although creeks can dry up on prolonged sunny days. The hike to Hozameen Ridge is approx 4.25 km from Mowich. Manning Park is 2 hrs drive from Vancouver and 2 hrs 40 mins from Kelowna

Westbound on BC Highway 3, also known as the Crowsnest highway.
Summer's here and that means its time for our annual Manning Park Camping trip. I figured since I uploaded the drive there last year, I'd upload the the drive back this year (Or half of it...) It rained both days we were there and didn't get sunny until the day we were leaving. Still had lots of fun though, but would've liked to see more sun.

Three Brothers Mtn. Frosty Mtn. - EC Manning Park Backpacking
A 3 hour drive east of Vancouver, EC Manning Park offers a variety of hiking trails including the popular Heather Trail, Three Brothers Mountain, Frosty Mountain, Windy Joe and so on. En route to the Three brothers Mountain, you can enjoy pretty meadows with alpine flowers in full bloom on the Heather trail.
Buckhorn Campsite ushers the way to the Three Brothers Mountain at the 10km mark. Frosty Mountain trail starts beside Lightning Lake. Located by the US border, a panoramic view of mountains surrounding both sides of the border can be seen from the summit.

My wife Samarra and I took a short hike along the Pacific Crest Trail near Ashland Oregon where we live on a beautiful late Summer day.
Recorded on August 31rst, 2013 with a Flip video camera.

Mt. Baker snow cave!!! (with bonus slide)
Credit to P.K. and crew for building this richeous snow cave. Located in a top secret area in the Mt. Baker WA ski resort, this is the coolest snow cave I have been in all year. 2 rooms with a front entrance and a slide that looks like you're entering a tree well, its pretty awesome. nice work paul hope you see this.
