Day 2 – Episode 4
Bhutan Trip – Dinner and Stay with Bhutanese Family – Camping Traveller India – Amice
After making a hunt to some more hotels, we gave up and thought to go out of the city and explore with some home stay.
Next day, hike to the tiger’s nest was planned. We made a plan to start at 10 Am. And day after tomorrow, we were leaving for Haa Valley.
To go Haa Valley, you need to have a Route Permit, because that’s a different district like Punakha. The Permit, you take from Phuentsholing is valid to Thimphu and Paro district only.
If you are planning to go to other districts like Punakha and Haa, two different route permits need to be taken, one at a time from Thimphu.
So, it was mandatory for me to take the permit if I really wanted to go to Haa Valley.
Keeping this in view, I decided to go to Thimphu to night and apply for the Permit early as soon as they open the office. Take it and come back by 10:30 or 11:00 AM.
Keeping in mind, I left the group at Paro and joined Lubzang. We travelled to Thimphu in his car and stayed with his family in the night.
After the dinner, Lubzang took me to have the experience of Thimphu nightlife. We went to a Karaoke Bar and ordered for a beer for a drink and me for him.
It was a good place, not very crowded but alive. Lots of songs are being played there on Karaoke.
This was a fun filled Family Dinner, where not only I enjoyed the Bhutanese cuisine but also enjoyed the Chit chat, brother sisters fight and mothers silent participation in to these all fights.
They made Red Rice (Bhutanese Specialty) , Ema Datshi, Butter Milk and a dish made with Potato and onion leaves or may be garlic leaves.
I liked this spicy traditional chatni a lot. Name of this dish is somewhere in the video, which was told me to by Thinley during the dinner only. See the video and find out on my youTube channel – CampingtravellerIndia.
They use wooden bowls to eat food. This bowl is also the part of their culture. They eat everyday in those bowls but they never wash it with water. Only dry cleaning with a dry clothe is done after food.
After a homely dinner with Lubzang family, we both went for a night out. We thought to pick up Aakash from the hotel. I know that he is staying in Hotel Himalyan Kessa.

N once again we are presenting a video of thimpu, our third day in thimpu & 3rd vlog of bhutan series.
Changangkha Lhakhang is situated in centre thimpu,and parents traditionally come here to get auspicious names for their newborns or blessings for their young children from the protector deity.
Another place is SIMPLY BHUTAN, which a living museum. Here you get to know about everything in bhutan, its all 5 kings, dance, archery, old bhutanese house designs, kitchen, making process of local wine ARA n many more....must visit place in thimpu.
National institute for zorig chusum, its a skill training institute and here students are trained for traditional bhutanese painting, wood carving, statue making n cloth stitching.
N finally, its DOCHULA Pass, 25km on the way from thimpu to punakha. Here its having mesmerising veiw of Himalayan mountains and cool breeze that make you refresh and rejuvenated. 108 chortens (stupa) are made in memories of soldiers killed in war 2003.????????⛰

Bhutan Tour with My Heavenly❤️
My first effort in youtube displays the brilliant and eye-catching clips with my heavenly in the land of the thunder Dragon- Bhutan. The state of the Dragon king and the Dragon people with colourful spots in Paro and Thimpu made my endeavour more significant. I had initially struggled to correctly wear GHO - but my efficient partner with master skills to put on KIRA easily did for me with GHO. My first tour here predominantly surprised me by the country's rich and its unique cultural heritage. Hours of painstaking sessions would just progress with the cool, crystal clear and fresh air of carbon free nation. I could easily advance with my work in this nation where Smoking of tobacco is banned absolutely.! Waw! what a healthy air to breathe in!
Being the first timer it was a little too tough for me to get acquainted with Dzonkha language and Ngultrum currency. Yet, I assure myself that, my love, a true Bhutanese will make me a specialist speech maker. Hope, this effort of mine would make every one happy and cheerful! My satisfaction lies only within the contented heart of the people who views my work and likes them!

Tshechu festival is One of the biggest festival of Thimphu and it was organised on 19th September to 21st September,2018. We reached Thimphu on 21st September which was the last day of the festival. Here its a continuation of day 3 of bhutan vlog series. N we are traveling to Punakha from dochula pass.
Punakha dzong is the most beautiful dzong in bhutan. It is situated at the confluence of two rivers, Mo Chu and Po Chu rivers.
It is very important dzong of bhutan as all the royal ceremonies like coranation, naming, royal wedding of kings were held here.
We stayed @Damchen resort in Punakha. Its very nice property and having the most beautiful river view outside the room.

Next day, 4th day of bhutan we went to chimi lakhang, which is very famous fertility temple. The belief is,bless people who visit the monastery on pilgrimage, particularly women seeking blessings to beget children.
Then we went to Gangtey velly, which is 81 km from Punakha. It is one of the flattering bowl-shaped valleys in the country which offers breathtaking views of vast expanses of green fields visible from a number of points along the journey. And in winters its a home of Black Naked crains.
