Rostock is the largest city in the north German state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Rostock is on the Warnow river; the district of Warnemünde 7 miles north of the city center is directly on the Baltic Sea coast.
This is the third port on my eleven day Baltic cruise on the Emerald Princess. In this video I visit St. Mary's Church and Market Square in Rostock before returning to the ship in Warnemünde for the sail away.

Warnemünde Seaport and Rostock Hanseatic City. Also featuring the Stasi (East German State Security) pre-trial prison hidden away within an apartment complex area. Visits to both historic trading towns with strong nautical links. Virtually destroyed during the Second World War, the city of Rostock has regained it's attractive Hanseatic style buildings and elegant facades. Second part of my Baltic travelling.

Rostock is a North German circular city, university and Hanseatic city on the Baltic Sea. It is located in the district of Mecklenburg of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. With 206,011 inhabitants (2015) it is the most populous city as well as currently the only major city of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Along with Schwerin, Neubrandenburg, Stralsund and Greifswald, the Regiopole is one of the four upper centers of the country and is culturally and economically a significant city in the southern eastern seas.

DAY 17 - HOW TO TRAVEL IN WARNEMUNDE, GERMANY
The Baltic sea reminds me of my childhood and great vacations with my family. I took a bike ride with my favorite person to explore the beautiful beaches along the coast. If you are ever in Warnemunde, this is a must to explore the more natural side and simply get around quicker in the town. I will also take you to a hidden small but mighty bee keepers home that sells honey. Enjoy and thumbs up! ????
