Johnny Cash's grave in Hendersonville, Tennesse
Pastor Ken Smith devotional in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Beloved musicians Johnny and June Cash lie side by side in the Hendersonville Memory Garden. They are surrounded by June's family members and Merle Kilgore who co-wrote Ring of Fire.
Johnny's last performance was on July 5th, 2003. He read the following statement about June at the concert, The spirit of June Carter overshadows me tonight with the love she had for me and the love I have for her. We connect somewhere between here and heaven. She came down for a short visit, I guess, from heaven to visit with me tonight to give me courage and inspiration like she always has.
Johnny passed away on September 12th, 2003 from diabetes complications while hospitalized at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Johnny and June's love for one another and God is still evident. A trip to their grave site is a testament to two talented musicians and gracious souls who simply could not live without each other.

Johnny Cash - Remember The Alamo
John R. Johnny Cash (born J. R. Cash; February 26, 1932 -- September 12, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and author, who has been called one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Although he is primarily remembered as a country music artist, his songs and sound spanned many other genres including rockabilly and rock and roll—especially early in his career—as well as blues, folk, and gospel. This crossover appeal led to Cash being inducted in both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Late in his career, Cash covered songs by several rock artists, among them the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails and he covered the synthpop band Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus.
Cash was known for his deep, distinctive bass-baritone voice; for the boom-chicka-boom freight train sound of his Tennessee Three backing band; for his rebelliousness, coupled with an increasingly somber and humble demeanor; for providing free concerts inside prison walls; and for his dark performance clothing, which earned him the nickname The Man in Black. He traditionally started his concerts by saying, Hello, I'm Johnny Cash and usually following it up with his standard Folsom Prison Blues.
In 1997, Cash was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease Shy-Drager syndrome, a form of Parkinson's disease. The diagnosis was later altered to autonomic neuropathy associated with diabetes. This illness forced Cash to curtail his touring. He was hospitalized in 1998 with severe pneumonia, which damaged his lungs.
Cash died of complications from diabetes less than four months after his wife, at 2:00 a.m. CT on September 12, 2003, while hospitalized at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. He was buried next to his wife in Hendersonville Memory Gardens near his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 -- March 6, 1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna launched an assault on the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas). All but two of the Texian defenders were killed. Santa Anna's perceived cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians—both Texas settlers and adventurers from the United States—to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution.

Famous Graves - Marshall University Monument and Plane Crash Site
In my latest famous graves video, we visit the monument honoring the Marshall University Airplane Crash. Toward the end of the video, we actually visit the location of the Marshall football team airplane crash. The crash occurred in 1970, and is still the deadliest plane crash to impact a sports team. We are in Huntington West Virginia to honor the lives lost and to pay our respects.

Johnny Cash - Hurt (Letra e Tradução) - Clipe Oficial

Kim Clement Memorial Video

This is a rare opportunity to own your own cozy Lake Keowee lake house with your own covered, 4-slip dock that is accessed through the gated community of The Cliffs yet is not part of the Cliffs. You benefit from this gated access but, you do not pay any fees. As a matter of fact, this unrestricted property does not have any association fees. This unique property located at the northern end of Lake Keowee was once a ski-school hence the the 4-slip, covered dock! Views of the mountains will be your backdrop and your 398+- personal water front is perfect for skiing and tubing as it is open water, yet not on the main channel. This is a very rare property as it is UNRESTRICTED!
This property is approximately 1.25 acres that has its own private boat ramp. Not only that, the shoreline is protected with rock from
erosion. The lake house is charming. Although there is parking near the stairs that lead to the front door, the driveway leads directly to
the two-car garage and covered, lower deck. Entry through that door is easy. And, when you have swimmers and water-logged guests coming up from the dock and the beach, use of this door leads to the multiple showers and bath as well as a kitchenette for quick preparation of meals. This is terrific space. The main floor features an open floor plan with two bedrooms and one bath. The lakeside screened-in porch extends the width of the home and is excellent for outdoor dining. The screens are from floor to ceiling, just imagine transforming this to a glassed in sunroom if you wanted! There is another bedroom and bath plus a loft for additional sleeping or congregating. There is a two car garage. The current owners were told that the metal roof was installed in 2010 and R22 insulation added. The upstairs has two split ductless HVAC units installed in 2013 along with a main floor heat pump which was installed in 2011.
Since the history of this residence was its prominence as a water skiing school in the 1990's, this home features the four slip, covered
dock as well as two jet dock drive on lifts and three jet ski jet dock lifts. Because of this home's location between Lake Jocassee and its position on Lake Keowee, you have the amazing opportunity to enjoy both of these phenomenal lakes. You are just about 2 miles from Lake Jocassee. It is hard to surpass this. You ask: what do I do with all the boat storage capacity? Perhaps rent the extra slips since this is an unrestricted property. AND, if you really want a lot of shoreline and your own compound, this couple is selling the agent lot that they own, Lot J67 also known as 169 Jocassee Point Road. This lot, which is restricted, has its own covered dock and a driveway is in. This lot is offered separately for $299,000. Another opportunity to imagine what you could do with both of these properties: multiple docks, an existing home and possibly your future dream home!
