Mere minutes after the motion to approve a 20 year Bala land lease was passed by the Township of Muskoka Lakes Mayor Don Furniss and his slate of councillors, the team attended a private party with a Swift River Energy Limited executive. SREL Vice President Frank Belerique was apparently on hand to share insights with the assembled group and congratulate Mayor Furniss for this controversial victory.
