Yarra River Reserve at Chirnside Park
Filmed March 13, 2012. This Reserve is 30 km east of central Melbourne and is adjacent to the canoe launching ramp, at the end of Lower Homestead Rd. The walking track follows the perimeter of the Golf and Country Club, and passes the scenic lake, with its resident pelican!

The Yarra Wetlands lie at the base of the Christmas Hills, about 40 km east of the Melbourne CBD. The vast Heritage and Country Club and golf courses occupy a large section of the Wetlands. My visit was a 6 km hike on May 23, 2010.
