Germany: Prince Charles and wife Camilla end German tour with farm visit

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla toured an organic farm and chatted with locals in Glonn, near Munich, on the last day of their German tour on Friday.

Charles toured the Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstatten, a farm that specialises in traditional agriculture and craftmanship, while Camilla was treated to a lesson in how to make German pretzels. The pair were then offered regional products to taste, such as bread, cheese and even the local brew.

Locals then lined up to shake the hands of the royals and present them with gifts, with the royal couple even receiving commemorative beer steins bearing their own faces.

Prince Charles and Camilla arrived in Germany on Tuesday – just one day after the birth of a son to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - for a trip aimed at boosting ties between the UK and Germany.
