Heyran villages (روستاهاي حيران)


Heyran (روستای حیران آستارا‎‎) is a cluster of three villages in the eastern Alborz mountain range, within Astara County of Gilan Province in far northeastern Iran.

The three villages are:

Heyran-e Bala حيران بالا, or Upper-Heyran
Heyran-e Miani حيران مياني, or Middle-Heyran
Heyran-e Payen حيران پايين, or Lower-Heyran

The villages are located 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Astara, on the road to Ardabil.

Winters are cold and snowy; summers are cool.

Heyran is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Iran, die to the beautiful and accessible scenery.

Because of its desirable microclimate at summertime, many villas have been built in the neighborhood. The main road is crowded on the weekends.

The Heyran Gondola lift is above the villages, at at higher altitude in the Alborz.

Heiran, a beautiful area between Astara -Adrebil road located northern Iran, a new Gondola lift started to run, this movie took in July 2013, the camera is Gopro black edition, sorry for the fuzzy noises of windy day, hope some day you have a chance to go there and enjoy.
